I haven't forgotten about getting photos for you. I searched once, and I suspect there are no markers. :( But when I can get a chance to hunt with help from someone on staff, I will verify that one way or the other and get photos of the markers or the plots.
I saw your post about being a descendant of Joanna O'Carroll and Joshua Howard. I am also a descendant and would love to compare notes. Please e-mail me if you have a chance!

Yes, George is next to Lois. I just put up a memorial for him and linked them. I have them on my list of folks to hunt for in Floral Haven. I will try to get those photos for you the next time I am there. I didn't know George, but I sure did enjoy Lois. She was quite a lady!

Well, at last, thanks to you, he will be remembered on Findagrave with his information, which I had. Diane

Thanks for that info about probably not having a headstone. I put in the request already; maybe someone will confirm that with a problem report on my photo request. It is sad when someone in the family doesn't follow through to put up a marker for the spouse that dies last. I have seen this more than once. FYI my husband's grandmother Gravlee was a Sellers. Thanks so much for this info as I did not know this. I have added his memorial and will request a grave photo. Diane
|Ryan Dupree||Moving entries|
If you will go to the people that you want to move to the correct cemetery, click edit next to the cemetery name on their info. Then click the button to select cemetery burial and continue. Then you can search for the correct cemetery. You will still manage the entries. All this will do is put them in the correct cemetery.

This is the smaller Crossroads cemetery. It is located on a hill behind the old Crossroads Church of Christ on highway 5 north of jasper.
My son and I were there this week and did a survey of the cemetery. We did not add your Smith entries. We thought that you could just move them over to the correct cemetery. We can add a current photo of the headstones as well
|Ryan Dupree||Crossroads Cemetery|
My son has started to do some work documenting the Crossroads Cemeteries in Walker County.
He actually has started up a Find A Grave cemetery for the 'other' Crossroads - the one northo of the bigger one.
It is his plan to do, as a service project, a census of both of them and add the info to Find A Grave. He has some family on his momma's side in the big Cross Roads Cemetery.
If you wanted to move your Smith Folks over to the other Crossroads that he has set up, that would be great. Then he would not duplicate your entries.
He hopes to get all this wrapped up by fall.
