Thank you for your reply. It's rather a shame that it's on private property..... like I told you my husband's grandparent's farm has a back graveyard where his great or 2x great grandparents and some spinster aunts are buried. Now that the farm has been sold we don't know if it's respected or farm over. I don't blame you for not going in. I have a cousin who lives in Utah also. She's back this way for a few months. Last fall she told me of similar experiences with her sister in GA -doing the same thing.... a cemetery that you wouldn't know existed in a woods... only they had to take dogs and watch for poisonous snakes! Yikes! NO way! Thank you for the information. At least someone found some records to create their memorials back in 2004. I was having trouble finding them and simply got lucky with my search yesterday.

You took the picture of the 'cemetery' site for the Joseph Cemetery. Is there a way to get in and get pictures of markers? I see your explanation is a hike on private property. It's kinda funny, but my husband's family has a private cemetery of about the same number of people on his grandparent's old farm... of course they are gone. It was marked out by the borders, but no 'official' headstones that I'm aware of. I am looking to get pictures of the Karns (4) headstones if they are there. Lewis and Eleanor would be my 4xs great grandparents! I have a friend in the area who offered to go get any pics I want... but I don't think this is what she has in mind!! LOL Would you be willing to get pictures of them for me? I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Yep - me too. She's one of the few in that part of the cemetery that does. I had to backtrack a bit to figure out whose monument it was since her name has disintegrated from it. I was lucky to be able to find one of her son's monuments in that area (about 12 ft away) just below the grass line. I sense that there are more markers buried up there but the elements have not been kind to them.
I read that the Pugsley family were descendants of Sir John Raleigh in the U.K. Is this part of you lineage?
Let me know, I'm interested; cuz you gotta admit, knights are cool. 😉 - Jim

It's my pleasure. I'm sorry it wasn't there... :(

I deleted one of Sherrill's sites on find a grave. Thanx for letting me knnow that I had created two memorials. Sherrill and I graduated together from George Whittell High. I always admired her as a very nice person. David

Hi - I got email/autoupdates that conflicted with each other, with parent data (remove them, add them), and the maiden name suggestion said Hallman rather than Hall. Perhaps they were just typos. Whatever, I've added lots of primary sources to the memorial, and think I have the data updated to be congruent with that. Thanks for the info!

You are very welcome!! I put the photo on Benjamin's wife. There is another Benjamin 1900-1976 in this cemetery plus other Farabees if you are interested in them let me know. Carla :):)

I am very excited about the information that you posted about my great, great, great grandparents. I have been chasing down all of the information that you posted on them.
I am very curious where you obtained all of your information. Are you related to them? If so, how? I am trying to find Noah and Mary's parents but have hit a dead end. Their other daughter Annie VanHorn was my great great grandmother. She married John Hagi and moved to Illinois and is buried in the cemetery in Fairbury, Illinois. Sadly there is no headstone.
I would appreciate any information that you have on my family.
Thank you so much for all that you have already provided me.
