Hi, I'm a retired police officer for the City of North Charleston in South Carolina. I retired in April 2005 with 33 years in law enforcememt. I also served 4 years in the USAF from 1967-1971. I have a beautiful wife, Roxanne, a beautiful daughter, Stephanie, who served 8 years in the United States Air Force and is now in the USAF Reserves. I have a beautiful grandaughter, born December 1, 2006, and her name is Raena Makenzie and she is the apple of my eye. I love to read and study history of the war for southern independence and World War II.|
Find A Grave is one of my favorite sites, it is very interesting and full of unlimited history. If you have some free time please stop by my mom and dads site and I would like to thank everyone for all of the beautiful flowers and messages left for them, it really means alot to us.

Hello, I saw your post on Edward Hix's page. I was wondering if, perhaps, you are related or if you know of anyone who is related. Thank you for your help.

Tony, I just noticed your tribute on the memorial for Dr. Thomas H. Schaeffer. Would you happen to have any documentation or resource that we can use to prove that he actually served during the Civil War? I can't find anything, yet he has a C.S.A. bronze marker at his grave site, but he is not listed on the C.S.A. Monument at the Monocacy Cemetery.

You were leaving a flower before I could complete the bio. I, too, am a Southerner by birth and at heart.

Thank you for the beautiful token that you placed on my Mom's memorial. God Bless you and yours!
Just stopping by to say hello and thank you. I've seen your tokens on several memorials for my relatives in different states, mostly CSA veterans. I just came across one that you left last month for Matthew J Reid, memorial # 103855228. I was born in AL but now live in Summerville. I guess that makes us neighbors.

Oh, interesting. Well we are very proud of him and I have enjoyed discovering details about his life which was tragically cut short. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for leaving the flag "flower" and message on my great great grandfather's page. How did you happen to come across it?
