I've been able to visit my ancestor's grave that someone had posted. I probably will never get to visit in person, so I appreciate that "proxy" visit you provided.|
On my memorials, I include the parents' names and place of birth if I can find them, as it certainly can help knowing which "John/Jane Doe" it is. I also like to add a title such as "Rev." or "Dr." to a memorial if appropriate, as it can save time in doing a search with 45 names all the same, in same state. I see some with titles on the tombstone, yet it is not entered with the name (perhaps the photo was added later...is a guess.)
I honor veterans (all wars) with a flag, or floral tribute, especially if they don't have one.
I welcome information or a correction to a memorial. I usually don't edit or check to be sure it is accurate, nor do I act as judge and jury over whether to add it. Check it if you doubt it. On memorials I contribute, I try to check the state and other records to assure it is accurate, but still I make mistakes. Use the white Edit tab at right top of the memorial. I will transfer a memorial if you are a relative, but I'd expect you to transfer if someone else asks you and they are closer kin.
My Family names I research: Vance/Sinclair, Yarbrough/Ellis/Young, Montgomery/Posey, Barnett/ Reynolds; Yandell/Sparks, Lee/Durham, Ward, Powell/Weaver.
With the "new edit" method, I don't always write a 'thank-you' nor do I expect one. We all have plenty to do to keep up. BUT, be assured that I do APPRECIATE any addition/correction, or PHOTO REQUEST you fulfill for me. Please accept this as my thanks for your efforts.

It was absolutely my pleasure. I help take care of cemeteries in Acton and Shapleigh, and this one is now on my radar. It is in desperate need of some TLC. I hope to get back and clean it up, stones and all. It looked like many stones had epitaphs and I will try to get them, and better photos, onto Find A Grave one of these days.

Thank you for the info you sent as a suggestion for his bio. I would like to clarify a couple of things.
You said his parents were in HH? Not sure what you mean? Also, I read your message as Oliver and his wife Carrie had 6 children, is that correct? Just want to be sure I have your facts listed correctly on the bio.
Thanks again for the info,

First, thank you for the wonderful memorial to Rev. Jacob Griffin, my husband's fourth great grandfather. I have worked on this family since 1997 and can add a lot of detail, as well as locations of the his children's graves, to add to the site.
I was hoping you'd consider transferring his site to me so I could update the information easily.
Thank you so much for your time!

Hi - I am writing to you in response to your email of 7/27, re: Rev William Fuller.
I will go in and fix what you sent me, also,
I was wondering if you knew anything about the family. There is a stone in there plot for
Aunt Anne Fuller, do you know anything about her?
thank you, Judy Atwater Harper

I don't have any additional information, but you might find this link interesting.

Thanks for all the info on Mr. Fullerton! I've added it to the memorial. If it is someone you'd like me to transfer to you let me know. CJ

You are most welcome. I also added photos for his wife and 3 of his children. Any other help I can provide please let me know.

I have connected Jonathan to his mother and also suggested her birth date to the creator of her memorial. The information which I have for him comes from the book Searsport Sea Captains, pg. 161. Thanks Ken Tyler, Oostburg WI

I don't think he is buried here as this was the only stone with her name. This was actually a better kept part of this cemetery too. Thanks for the bio I added the information.
