I am searching for the parents of Susan Ellen Kirby who married first, Preston "Press" Randolph, and second, Elbert G. Parrish. Her death certificate states "Mak Kirby" as her father. Her mother's name was Perdema.
Susan Ellen Kirby was born Dec 25, 1872/1874 in Tennessee and died Dec 9, 1944 in Tennessee. According to her death certificate, she is buried at Rose [Chapel] Cemetery, which is on Wildcat Cove Road, in White County, Tennessee. Some Randolph relatives have told me that her first husband, Preston, is also buried there, as is her daughter, Ethel Randolph Meadows. I would dearly love to have ANY information about her. All the census records I have for her show her living in White County, Tennessee. Her nickname was "Suk".
April 28, 2009 - I just visited Rose Cemetery last week. There are no markers for Susan Ellen, Preston or Ethel. I do have Susan Ellen and Ethel's death certificates. Ethel's states she is buried at Rose Cemetery. Susan Ellen's says she is buried at 'Wildcat', which I'm fairly certain is Rose Cemetery as it is on WILDCAT road. | |

 | Rock Talker Hi, I am trying to find a member poster "Rock Talker". He and I share some data, but have differing dates and I would like to correspond with him and see if we can consolidate our Find A Grave info. However, I cannot seem to find a way to contact him directly. I found he had contributed to one of your postings and thought you might know of a way to contact him. I am a Meador of the Benjamin/Lewis Meador clan of Franklin County Va and am trying to photograph cemeteries and collect data. Anything you could pass along would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! | RE: Box Paid I don't - I would assume it relates to payment of the burial space or other burial related expenses. You could contact the cemetery - they should know.Added by Graves on Apr 02, 2012 2:57 PM | | | Graves
