I am retired in Boise, Idaho. I have loved spending time in cemeteries since I was a little girl. Helping people by exploring cemeteries and photographing grave markers for them is a dream retirement activity for me.|
I walk the rows taking random photos when I am in a cemetery, and add the photos or the entire memorial to Findagrave if they are not in. I particularly concentrate on veterans (and their spouses), infants and children. I feel the veterans have earned the right to go to the front of the line. And I feel that since the babies and the children got so little on earth, at least I can give them some electronic "life".
I am always happy to add any information to a memorial I manage. Just send it. I am also delighted to add obituaries; just make sure that I have the correct attribution to add so the paper's copyright is respected.
If you find any errors of fact, date, relationship, or spelling on any of my memorials, please let me know. As a former professional proofreader, I KNOW that no one is perfect all the time, including me. I will fix it.
I will transfer management of memorials in line with the Findagrave guidelines, which specify relatives in a direct line. Specifically, they say: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred." Please do not ask.

Birth place is Iowa rather than Tennessee. See 1870 Iowa census, 1880 Colorado, 1900 Idaho, etc. Thanks for adding the death cert. None of his 3 sons had children so all info is welcome.

Hi Sue Ann,
Thank you so much for the wonderful job you are doing! I lived in Boise for about 6 years as a child. Many wonderful memories!
Could you please transfer my aunt's memorial to me?
Thank you so much!

Thanks for getting back to me and all of your help. I have a few William Hansen's in the family tree but not one of them died in 1946, as it's a common name its probably not one of mine. Thanks for the link, I have been on the GenWeb before but not sure if I ever went on to Idaho. I'll keep digging. Thanks again. K

I found his wife 75013344 at Juliaetta but John has no death date so not sure if he was buried there.
