I was born in Southington, Hartford, CT in 1959, the daughter of Donald Ray Patt b Gloster MS and Betty Ann (Stocker) Patt b Bridgewater Vermont.
My husband, (Michael Margiotta b Albany New York) and I have been living in Goodlettsville, TN, which is 15 minutes north of Nashville, for the past 9 years. I have a tree on Ancestry.com for about six years now and still consider myself a novice at it.
I am looking for ancestors in Cavendish, Brandon, Weston, Pittsford, Rutland, Ludlow, VT and Saratoga County, NY on my mothers side:
Fathers Side: Amite, Franklin, Counties MS and LA
On my husbands side: Albany, NY and Italy

That is very nice of you. Please transfer Marian to me. Marian was my Grandmother's sister. I used to lived across the street from Patty.
|Peg Bellard||RE: Martin Family|
My Martin family, at least the latest great-greats, lived in the Mississippi delta, around Rolling Fork, Vicksburg, and Anguilla. My great-great grandparents on my great-grandmother's,Katy Waddill Joor Martin, side (Waddill/Joors) and my great-grandfather, Dr. Lewis Ernest Martin, Sr. are buried in Rolling Fork. I don't know nearly as much about my great-grandfather's family as I do my great-grandmother's family. My grandfather was John Joor Martin, Sr. and his brothers were L.E. Martin, Jr., and Dr. George Martin and he had sisters, Elizabeth (Libber), Katy, Lady, and Polly. My dad is John Martin, Jr.
I have been intending to devote some time to looking into my great-grandfather's family but I've found so much interesting info on the other side that just keeps coming to fruition. I will get around to his side one day and perhaps I can tie us together!
|Lulabell||Grace Maud Hopkins Barber Olney|
It took me a few minutes to figure this out.
Her son Elwyn Barber was the informant - he put HIS father's name Elwin Barber instead of HER father who was Elbert Omera Hopkins - her mother is Susan Ellen Stone, he put Ellen Hopkins as her mother's maiden name.
Grace was divorced from Elwin Barber and married Ruel Henry Olney Oct 10, 1931.
Thanks for putting these death certs on their page.

Could you please look at the death certificate you posted on the above memorial and see if you can read her parents' names. My eyes are seeing Elwyn Barber & Ellen Hopkins. Do you agree?

I have attached your picture of Lawrence C Bowers Jr's headstone to my husband's family tree. If this is not okay, please let me know and I will remove it.
|Susan Barrow Spaulding||RE: Spaulding Family|
Take your time. I was on a roll....hot on the Spaulding trail. I tend to lose track of time. I was looking for one "thing" and then found a trove. Just so you know, I have looked up dates and other material from several sources. I know that I've added some sources for some and not others. I've been using "The Spalding Memorial" by Samuel Jones Spalding and "The Spalding Memorial....." by Charles Warren Spalding. Also Vermont Vital Records that I've found on www.familysearch.org.
I know some people get impatient if a person doesn't "jump to" making additions or taking suggestions. If it seems like I'm rushing you or pushing you, that's not the case.
I appreciate that you are considering all the additions and that you will do your best as you see fit and as your time allows.
