I've been interested in genealogy for many years and in researching have found myself in many different cemeteries and have fallen in love with them. They have so many stories to tell, some happy and some not so. And as the years pass and the old stones are getting more and more worn and hard to read I am so glad to know so many are trying to preserve them by taking photos and transcribing the stones and getting them up on findagrave. What a wonderful place this is with so many hard working contributors.
Because of the frequent requests for additions to the memorials, requests to link to parents etc, I must ask for documentation cites as I don't have the time to research each and everyone to be sure of accuracy. Some have requested things that I have checked out that were not in fact accurate. Thank you for your understanding. | |

I want to make corrections on my duplicates. But where is Rte 93 Cemetery? I don't know are all of mine duplicates? If they are I will certainly get rid of them.
Sometimes the state of Maine cemetery listings have different names for the cemeteries from the sign over the cemetery entrance. I'm not from Cumberland County. So I don't know when these mistakes occur unless someone tells me. Thank you for letting me know. I need a bit more help. I need to find your cemetery. Okay. And I don't know which of mine are duplicates.

Thanks for trying to take a photo of Joseph Thompson at Arlington Cemetery in Windham. Even though he was not listed on the 2000 transcription, the Sons of the American Revolution have him buried there. If you find the grave of William Thompson he would be nearby.
