Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing my family and my husband's family reaearch since 2008. I would love to hear from anyone who has connections. The surnames I am researching include, Bruman, Houck, Knoche, Lange, Grobbel, Dice, Howe, Seasons, and Collins. Locations include Detroit, Warren, Centerline, Lapeer, North Branch, Burnside, Five Lakes, and Kings Mill in Michigan, McLeod County in Minnesota, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and North Adams, Massachusetts.

I have established many memorial pages as I learn the burial sites. If I have established a memorial page for someone who is dear to you, please let me know and I will do a transfer. I am not related to anyone in Tennessee, so I am willing to transfer any Tennessee memorials. Please make your request through the edit tab on the memorial and include your ID number.

Please summarize biographical information in a nicely written paragraph rather than submitting a canned form of raw data from census records, death indices, and other documents.

Although Find a Grave allows records such as death certificates or military documents to be uploaded on the memorial pages, I would prefer you not upload them if they are findable online. It is important to leave that space available for items like photos of the person and their marker. The information found on these documents can be summarized in the biography. It is nice to open a memorial and find a cemetery photo, marker photo, or even a personal picture. I feel like I am actually virtually visiting the final resting place.

Albert Hessell family
I noticed that you have entered the names of children for Albert Hessell on find a grave. He is my grandfather and I would ike to give information regarding the family. My name is Albert Hessell also. The Catherine Hessell Kaltz that you show on the website was not his daughter. She was the daughter of Rinehard Hessell , who is also buried on St. Clement.
The children of Albert Hessell and Susan Hessell are as follows. You can return my e-mail and I will update you further with dates if you are interested albertdee@att.net
Catherine Hessell Koehler married Alexander Koehler
Mary Hessell Brohl married Louis Brohl
Michael Hessell married Theresa Berger
Albert Hessell married Clementine Weingartz
Henry Hessell married Genevieve Jahn
Jacob Hessell married Mabel Wertz
John Hessell married Catherine Burg
John Hessell {first John} Died as a child {first John}
Anna Hessell Died as a child
Lena Hessell Died as a child
I can give you birth and death dates also.
Albert was the son of Jacob Hessell and Johanna Haas. He was born in 1853 in Germany and came to America in 1854 with his parents and his older brother Reinhold Hessell. Albert married Susan Robinet. Reinhard Hessell married Caroline Rhodes. The Catherine Hessell Kaltz that you show was their daughter. If you are interested I can supply you the names of their other children, so that you could update the information for them.
I see you have the information for my grandmothers {Susan Hessell Robinet] siblings on her website. I can supply you with the names of the other siblings of Albert Hessell if you are interested. I can also check the names of the siblings for Susan Hessell Robinet as I think you are missing some. Please respond to my e-mail

RE: Rachel Bader Photo
Yes, Maple Grove Cemetery used to be known as Brown City Cemetery. Although, it is outside the city and county limits, most people consider it Brown City. The cemetery sits on the Lapeer-Sanilac County line. Still, Brown City is the closet town and the city hall has the records.

RE: Rachel Bader Photo
There was one additional grave marker on the other side of the plot which was completely illegible, so I didn't photograph it. I'm not sure if the Brown City Hall is able to do lookups by plot owner, but you may wish to contact them to see if the mother was indeed buried there. They should have a record even if there is no stone. The plot is fairly decent sized, so i would expect more than just the two or three burials that are marked.

RE: Rachel Bader Photo
You're welcome. She was located in the plot of, and directly next to, Henry Witmer.
