I would be happy to make any corrections or add additional information to memorials, but only if you use the "edit' button on the memorial in question as it links to the correct memorial. I am unable to make corrections listed in messages, because there is too much room for error.
Please feel free to use my photos to add to your genealogy trees as I know how much it can help.
also a reminder from FAG concerning transfer requests- "First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request.
Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. " Please state your relationship when requesting a transfer.
I sent the "edit" correction as you requested, but it does not allow an explanation for the reason for the change (Death date on marker should be 1874, not 1871 -- note the wider space after 187 and before the next number).
Proof: "On the 16th inst., Sarah FORD, widow of the late Robert FORD, deceased, aged about 72 years." [“Abstracts of the Deaths and Marriages in the Hightstown Gazette, New Jersey, 4 January 1872-27 December 1877,” page 55, by Richard S. Hutchinson.] Newspaper was dated 23 July 1874.
Rynaldo C. Reeder Hello, Leigh, I noticed your photo of the headstone for Rynaldo C. Reeder and Charlotte B. Reeder at Swedesboro Cemetery in New Jersey. Are you any relation to these two or have any additional information? - thanks.
KEEN Family Hi Leigh, I see you posted the Find A Grave Memorial #60271830 for David KEEN. I wonder if you are descended from the KEEN/E family. I am a Miller as well, and am a descendant. (I know, there are a lot of Miller's in Lancaster Co., PA and we aren't ALL related!) Tina
RE: Borton Hi Leigh I deleted the Robinson headstone-from both he and his wife. It has been such a long time since I added those pictures. I believe the headstone is two sided one for Borton and the other for Robinson. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!!! Ray Sassman
