Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.

No Cemetery.

People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.

I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.

My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Van Buren-Kelowna Mem Park
Hi, My Van Buren family hailed from Saratoga Co NY, westward to Toledo, Lucas co Ohio.
So little was known for many years about this particular line.
Henry Lloyd, son of Henry Samuel/Harry and Clara (Snell Van Buren, grandson of Henry and Rose (Law) Van Buren and great grandson of Henry Cornelius & Melissa (Burr) VanBuren (note spelling variation, some have space between Van & Buren)
Thank you for getting me started in reconnecting this part of my very large family of VB.

Neal W. Robertson
Frank Robertson Sr. Memorial# 105519632
You are correct the two Frank Robertson's do have different grave markers. At the time I questioned you about them being duplicates your Frank did not have a photo of his marker on his memorial. It has just recently been added on 9/15/2015. Your Frank Robertson Sr. here was not born in Arkansas. I think if you check the California death records you will find that this Frank Robertson was born in Colorado. You also have this Frank Robertson linked to Sarah E. Gaddis as her spouse. Do you have a source of information such as a marriage license that would link him and her together as man and wife? Are they buried next to each other? I have marriage sources for her three marriages. I think you have your Frank Robertson Sr. mixed up with my Grand Uncle B. F. "Frank" Robertson who "was" married to Sarah E. Gaddis. If you do have a marriage license proving that your Frank Robertson Sr. was also married to Sarah E. Gaddis please send me a copy of it. Otherwise I don't think he should be linked to her as one of her husbands. Thank you.
