Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.

No Cemetery.

People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.

I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.

Photography.

My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Sarah Elizabeth Boesch
Hello Scott, Thanks for putting this up, Sarah was my grandmother. I loved her so much. She died when I was just 9 or 10. Her son William L Harrod was my father.

Correction please
Hello Scott,
My member #48399789. Please remove my maternal ggfather Henry Sweden Bynum #103215975 from the Asa Andrew Bynum #2878490 (1844-1907)
My ggranfather belongs with this Asa Andrew Bynum #35988968 (1850-1927). I am attaching two links to show this truth. Both are by the LDS research, the 1900 census names Henry Sweden Bynum as the correct Asa Andrew Bynum'son.

US Census 1900 link:https://familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3Ahenry~%20%2Bsurname%3Abynum~%20%2Bbirth_place%3AAlabama~%20%2Bbirth_year%3A1881-1881~

https://familysearch.org/search/tree/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3AAsa~%20%2Bsurname%3ABynum~%20%2Bbirth_place%3A%22Oneonta%2C%20Alabama%22~%20%2Bbirth_year%3A1850-1850~

I would really appreciate your attention to this matter. Thanks, Rose Beninger

Elizabeth Marie Moen #103899225
I was contacted to add Elizabeth to the Find A Grave site for Lars Nyre. You will have to add Lars Find A Grave as Elizabeth's father since you created his site. His number is 80520708. Thanks.

Scott,
Could you tell me if this is a husband and wife
buried in Hatzic cemetery. It lists Evelyn Mae
in 48A 31 and Ralph Harold in 48 31 I believe
these were married. I found Evelyn listed as
the daughter of Jacob Jefferson Waite on his death certificate. Do you know who I would contact for getting obituaries for the Mission City, BC area?

Thanking in advance,
Susan Audy

Lucy A Norcross
Greetings Scott! I am attempting to confirm whether or not Lucy A Norcross (Memorial# 105519147) which you created, was my mother's aunt. The birth and death dates match my research. Does the information include her parents? I am the granddaughter of William Henry Gray (Memorial# 13193260) and the great granddaughter of Alvira Kent Gray (Memorial# 13193169). Alvira Kent Gray was our Lucy's mother and Nathaniel Gray (Memorial# 13193143) was her father, if indeed this is the same Lucy Ann Gray Norcross that I know of. I have not been able to travel to Exeter, CA yet, but it is my plan to do so. Thank you for all your hard work and effort to reunite families.

Effie Mae Clement #103216107
Hello, I have been working with the family of Effie Mae Clement, her parents were James Cronk (Van Cronk) and Mary Fretz Cronk. Mary and James Cronk were connected to my Vredenburgh family. They lived in Barry County, Michigan. I would like to add a history to this Memorial (look at her mother's account for the history I posted for her mother). If it is possible I would appreciate a transfer, and if not, that's OK. I'm trying to tie up "loose ends."

Best regards,

An Oregonian (#47483560)
