|Jane K||RE: Susan Harshman Beckel|
Yes, I'm doing research for Dayton History on the early families that settled in and around Dayton.
It took me quite a while but I finally figured out how to connect Susan with her siblings - ones that you've already established memorials for. So you probably will have notices asking for you to review them in the next few days.
Thank you again for entering all those Woodland gravesites. I've really found them very useful.

|Jane K||Susan Harshman Beckel|
Memorial # 90730285 misidentifies Ms. Beckel. Susan Harshman Beckel was born in 1847 to Daniel Beckel and Susan or Susanna Beckel (born Harshman). She was their eldest daughter. She died on July 23 1925.
Her mother was the daughter of Jonathan Harshman and Susan Harshman (born Rench). Her dates are May 22, 1823 to Mar 9, 1890
Both Susan and her mother (and her father) are buried in Woodland Cemetery in Section 52 Lot 1167.
Please contact me if you need more information.

According to her death certificate, the above-mentioned memorial was born 13 Jul 1830 in Germany to Christian Miller and Elizabeth Knecht. German birth records indicate she was born Scharlotta Muller 13 Jul 1830 in Hohfroschen. She was christened 2 days later in Thaleischweiler-Froschen, Sudwestpfalz, Germany to Christian Muller and Elisabetha Knecht.
