RE: Mary Murray
Hi Margaret, Mary & William were interred in Monument Cemetery. Mary on 21 Dec 1878 (not 1872 the record is simply wrong), William on 22 Apr 1880. One reason Mary was originally interred in the Wharton Street Vault is because she passed from Tuberculosis so SOP was to contain the "contagious" body right away. This suggests the delay in getting her removed to Monument Cemetery may have been lack of funds to get a headstone made and/or open the grave, they already owned the lot at Monument. Monument Cemetery was closed to make a parking lot for Temple University and most if not all of the folks were removed to Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, Pa., 19046. I suggest you write them to confirm this is where they are finally at rest, they have been very helpful in the past should be able to give you their location in the Monument Cemetery Section of Rockledge. All the Best - rob

You are most welcome to use the photo anywhere you want it. Thanks for asking. I noticed that two identical photos were posted on the site, so I deleted one of them.
