 | Simon P Howard Simon and Myra were my grandparents. They died when I was 12 and 24 years old, respectively, so I knew them both. Their birth and death dates are correct. However, Simon was born in Georgia, not Kentucky. His parents were not William and Nancy. Their names were Riley Allen Howard and Sarah Catherine Howard, also both born in Georgia. | | | Betty Harris
 | RE: Hughes Sure, that would be nice. They are my aunt and uncle. Thank you, Betty | | | Glenn
 | RE: Beatrice DITTMER Sure, that would be great and her husband Milton Dittmer too if possible. Thanks, GlennAdded by Glenn on Mar 31, 2013 3:08 PM | | | Glenn
 | Beatrice DITTMER Hi, Could you connect Beatrice (Polenz) Dittmer #62291864 to her father? He is Albert Polenz and his number is 61835954. He is a younger brother of my grandma Pauline (Polenz) Trapp. Thanks, Glenn TrappAdded by Glenn on Mar 31, 2013 2:42 PM | | | Linda Kay Dison Welch
 | Duncan I apologize, the name you are looking for is Duncan, I misspelled it. | | | Linda Kay Dison Welch
 | John Doncan/Linwood Cemetery I have a photo of a John Dunlop's marker. It has the same date of death as the one you are looking for. It is a marker that was erected by his shipmates. It is in memory of John Dunlop...a native of England; distinguished in the actions of the Virginia Merrimac; on the 8th & 9th of March 1862. Died of the Soldiers **Hand** September 2, 1862. It is located in the Confederate Soldiers Section, close to a cannon. I will be glad to share what I have if you think it might be the same person. | | | Ted Myers
 | Swain Snell I am sorry, but I do not know any family members,Ted | | | Eugene Lewis
 | RE: Lilla Crews LeRoy I am kin to the Crews's through my Mother. She was Crews on both sides. Her Father's side in reverse was Bryant C. (not cowhouse bryant), Riley, Micajah, Alexander and John. Through her Mothers side, Minnie Estelle, Franklin C., Lewis, Isham and John. I'm going to make my ancestry.com account available to everybody as soon as I finish checking for duplicates and errors. I don't have a lot on the Crews's that settled in Clinch and Echols Counties and parts of the clan ended up back in Ware County. I thank you very much for the offer to transfer some of them to me. I don't really want to get into the posting of Memorials at my age. This Find A Grave thing is the neatest thing to come along in a while for genealogy. I'm just having a great time helping Jerry Herrin get links done and get the Brantley County Cemetery Book correct and up to date. I've also come in contact with some of the greatest folks looking to get links done. I became a Widower in late 2010 and this has been a great crutch along with the help of our Creator in helping me through a bad time. THANKS eugenetlewis@aol.com | | | | [View all messages...] |
