|angelsaroundme2||William Johnson and Mildred Lee Dryden|
I am writing a book on 5 hero' here in Independence, Jackson Co., Mo. Who were firemen and have a memorial with a red velvet rope around it. I have been working on these five men for 2 years. They all died in the line of duty. 3 were captains and 1 of them was my Grandfather. I am working on Latimer at this point and would be ever so grateful if you could please be so kind to find his sister and her husband for me. She was the personal secretary to President Harry S. Truman and her husband was a very big lawyer. They lived in Arlington, Arlington Co., VA. They were both born here in Independence, Mo.
Mildred Lee (Latimer) Dryden

William Johnson Dryden
Born-23 Sep 1903 Died-24 Nov 1984 Both in Arlington, Arlington Co., VA. I apologize for the inconvience, but my e-mail is not working right now so you will have to contact me through Find a grave. So sorry. So grateful for all you do and all you have done.

Mr. Sproles, I am interested in your Sprole family, in particular:
Ernest Lofton Sproles (1914 - 1986)
Catherine Grant Sproles (1917 - 1980)
and their descendants.
They are distant cousins of mine. Catherine's family migrated from Kentucky and settled in Louisiana (Iberia, then Baton Rouge). Catherine is a descendant of The William Grant - Elizabeth Boone (sister of Daniel Boone) family. I am collecting information on the various descendants of the Grant - Boone family in hopes of writing a book in the near future. In the meantime I am tracking down the family in hopes of gaining pictures, biographies, etc. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Ray
|Agatha||Mary Ann Sproles|
Hello. Thank you for all of your wonderful information on the Sproles family. Mary Ann Sproles (#73852047) and Levi Young Fowler were my 2x great grandparents. In fact, I have an old trunk that belonged to Mary Ann that came with her from MS to TX. I would love to get any more information you might have on the Sproles family and if you have anything by chance on the history of Fowlers, that would be great, too. I have found Levi's brother and I think his mother, but no father. It is a bit of a mystery. Any help you could give would be appreciated. Aggieanne@aol.com

|Kim Moore||William W. Horton's daughter|
Do you know what happened to William W. Horton's daughter Susan P. from his first marriage to Amanda Teal? I believe she married my direct line relative Thomas Ardrey and they had several children, but then I'm not sure what happened. I saw a note that someone said he left for the civil war and never came back. Do you know what happened to her and the children?
I thought I had your email address. Please email me. I need to talk to you about Bostick genealogy. CABforHIM@aol.com
|Larry Carpenter||William J. Moon|
William J. Moon married Mary Perkins 10-18-1812 in Madison County. His memorial #120341102. Most of this info comes from the Moon-sublett family, I've found some errors & I am in doubt on some of the children.
I decided it was time to sort out this family & list them & connect them on findagrave. We are related to the Moon's in dozens of different ways.
Any information that you wish to share would be very much appreciated.
