I don't know how I missed this one...I am so very sorry for not sending you thanks earlier.
I so appreciate your generosity in transferring Margaretta Jane Brassfield Richardson to my care. I have successfully connected her with family, parents and siblings. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

I am looking for info related to the children of C.W. Shepherd. I have reason to believe that he had a son named Alexander Marion who died ~ 1900. He is not listed as one of C. W.'s children on the page that you created for C. W. What was the source for your info for C.W.'s children? Do you have anything on Alexander? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Jenny

|Katie Baptiste Garrison||RE: Samuel Cox|
By golly, you're right, especially since your Samuel has a matching headstone to John and Sarah Cox. I was basing mine off hints on Ancestry.com, calling him Samuel Stanfield Cox and linking him to John and Sarah in multiple family trees. I found his 1842 marriage record listing him as "Samuel Standfield Cox", so assumed it correct that he be named after his mother. I cannot find a census earlier than 1860 to see him living with parents though, so I suppose his lineage shall remain a mystery for now. I wonder why so many have him linked to those parents on Ancestry? Oh well, thanks for the heads up!

I noticed that you have one or more photo requests for people buried in Holy Cross cemetery in Detroit MI. There cemetery office has permanently closed, all of their records were sent to the Our Lady of Hope cemetery office. Please call them at (734) 285-2155 to get the plot location of your loved ones, this way find a grave volunteers in the area can accurately locate the stone.
