For corrections that need to be made, information you wish to add to a memorial, or to link family members, please use the edit button found at the upper right corner of each memorial. |
If you would like for me to transfer a memorial to you, please let me know. Multiple requests are welcome! This includes all but about 100 memorials in which I desire to manage...however, if you are a closer relative than I am to those memorials, I will transfer them to you as well.
Most of my virtual flowers are actually American Flags I have placed on memorials of our military veterans.
Because of time and other interests I will no longer be adding memorials to Find-A-Grave except possibly for family and friends.
I will continue to monitor my memorials and make necessary changes.
I am thankful for Find-A-Grave and to all the volunteers who have spent their time and effort by contributing to help make this a great tool and website for many people, including myself!

Hi, Cory. Searched at the court house in Alexander County, Illinois and the cemetery books at the library in Cairo. I did find a Josephine Parker death certificate, but her birth/death dates are as follows: July 4, 1877-December 27, 1961. Otherwise, I could not find anything on your Josephine. Sorry. I know you wanted to know where she is buried. I do have some photos taken of the cemetery books that I would like to send to you. jp

|Marlene Greer||Thank you|
Thank you for all of your hard work. I really appreciate your determination to find out about the Chaney linage...

Hi Cory, so glad to hear from you; especially that you had an enjoyable trip. It has been some time since I visited either of the two cemeteries in the Mounds area. Hope to get to them again soon. Did you happen to visit the library in Cairo? They do have cemetery books that recorded the area cemeteries in the mid to late 1990s. There may be some info in one of them. If I have an opportunity, I'll check it out. The cemetery books need to be recorded/updated. Good luck with finding folks. Take care. jp
