A majority of my contributions are Civil war-era soldiers. If you find one or any of my interments is an ancestor, I would be happy to transfer them to you.

Hector Tyndale
Was the son of Robinson Tyndale and Sarah (Thorne) Tyndale.

His father's memorial number is 110681986.

Robinson is also buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery, as is Hector's sister, Laura Tyndale born 13 Jul 1822.

I added Robinson and Sarah to Find A Grave.

There is a tombstone there for Sarah and her daughter, Laura is on it. I don't have any picture requests for today, but you may want to take that tombstone picture and add it to the memorials for Sarah and Laura, when you have time.

RE: Thomas McKean
I was skeptical at first but any way I worked it, it came out the same. I would love to visit his grave but I will probably never make it up there. It was so nice of you to respond. His guts and determination was passed right down through the McKeans to the Dolans and still lives today... LOL Thank you for letting me know. I bet your tours are very informative. Wish I could take it.

Transfer Request Help

May 7, 2013

I am seeking help in getting the grave sites of my family transferred to me. The T.V.F.T.H message site is disabled and I am wondering if you could help me.
The lady who is maintaining the sites now sent me a message saying Jeff & Ella Yates only had 2 daughters that let's me know she does not know my family and another message saying she does not wish to transfer the Yates sites to me.
To my knowledge she is not directly related to us.

Her name and number is:
Peggy Sue Hicks---#47122777

These are the ones I have requested from her:

My Dad--Jeff Davis Yates--#68992823
My Mom--Ella D. Yates-#68992854(D.is for Davis)
Sister--Virgie Yates Brewer--#68997481
Brother--Freddie Lee Yates---#68992704
Sister-in-law--Carolyn Eakes Yates--#68992740
Uncle--my dad's brother--Will Yates--#69033603
Aunt--my Mom's sister-Estelle Davis Yates--- #69033619

All of these are located in the Sand Hill Church Cemetery. Ellisville (Jones County), MS

Thank you for any help you can give,
Paulette Yates Crosby

MEMORIAL TRANSFER
Would you be interested in transferring management of memorial #8881841 Herschel Bayliss to me - Gary Eastham 48102831?
It seems that James Bayliss the creator is no longer available.
Herschel is a Great Uncle - married to my Father's sister.

ELizabeth Bowers burial photo
Thanks Russ for trying to find her..obviously there is not longer or may never have been a stone. Appreciate your efforts.
Post Script: since you are a senior findagrve administrator, perhaps you can tell me what is approximate time for SAC's to be filled for those memorials that contributors are either unresponsive to edits or inactive or deceased? thanks again for everything you do for this fabulous site!

Emil Joseph Kapaun (April 20, 1916 – May 23, 1951) was a Roman Catholic priest and United States Army chaplain who died as a prisoner of war in the Korean War. For his wartime activities, the Roman Catholic Church has declared him a Servant of God, the first stage on the path to sainthood, and on April 11, 2013, President Barack Obama awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously to Captain Chaplain Kapaun

RE: Frances Druck Photo Request
Harleigh in Camden is denying having Frances Druck, checking 1909 and a year on each side. Not to belabor this with you, but... if I call Laurel Hill is there anyone there you spoke with who might be helpful? Beyond Harleigh, I'm wondering if they can see who ordered the removal. Thanks once more.
