Bio Photo My genealogy research is very important to me and I absolutely love helping everyone on their journey of finding their heritage! If I am slow at answering my emails and edits please don't find it to be a personal reason or that I'm refusing your corrections. I'm the mother of two young boys and in the last 6 months we almost lost our baby to RSV/Pneumonia. By God's grace I was able to resuscitate him and get 911 in time and our little Grant is healthier than ever but the 13 days we spent in ICU have taught me to cherish more time away from my electronics more time watching my babies grow :) Thanks!

I'm having a love affair with the past!

I love the civil war, Ireland, family, history, genealogy, cemeteries, and being with those that I love!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I do offer professional genealogical research and can be reached by email to discuss helping you in your family research.

A proud member of One Foot In The Grave.

RE: Milton Pottinger
Thank you, Amelia, and it's no problem. We all have unexpected things that interrupt our regular lives, and delay other, less important things. I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty with your baby. Hope all things are going well now.

And Thanks! for making the changes to his memorial.

You have a spouse listed for this person that died long before he was born. Should her dates be 19 instead of 18?

This is a very old cemetery and record keeping is a bit spotty. Next source would be the Peoria Diocese, the church records which if I remember they have to look up. If you contact them provide nationality, which I think may be associated with The St. Joseph Church records. (Churches during that time period tended to divide by nationality).

If they do have a record of the burial, might suggest they send the info to the Catholic Cemetery Assn. to update their records.

Let me know what you find out.

Thank you for the photo of Virgil Gingrich's marker (#23423659). Would it be OK with you if I post that photo to my family tree?

You have posted a memorial for Eleanor Maybelle Okeson, and I thought you might want to add that she died in New York City. There is a small obit with the burial records which includes the names of her sisters. Let me know if you would like that information.
