I have always been interested in our family's roots and have kept a family tree for many years.|
I discovered Find A Grave awhile ago. It is an amazing service and wonderful research tool. Thank you to all of the photo volunteers for their crisp, clean pictures and information.
I like to take photos in graveyards when we travel and have added several photos to memorials or if there is no memorial to match a photo I have created one.
I am happy to transfer memorials I have added that are not of my own family. Please EMAIL me directly and include your FAG # and the name and number of the transfer you are requesting.

Lamenta Swan Bayes was my 4th cousin 4xremoved and a 3rd grt-grandaughter of Edward (1630-1708)and Susannah Heath (1630-1693) Swann of Eagleton Plantation, Charles County, Maryland. I am a YDNA-proven descendant and 7th grt-grandson of Edward and Susannah. I can provide most all of the details you need to complete your pedigree, if you're interested. My Descendant Report for Edward Swann is over 650 pages. For more information, reply to my email address for attachments and so forth.

I am doing genealogy research for 4-H and am looking for info on JOHN HAWK 1812 possible birth year and possibly born in Bavaria; Margaret, wife of John, 1819 possible birth year and possibly born in Bavaria; their son PETER HAWK with 1842 birth year and born in Ohio and his wife Eliza/Elizabeth born possibly in 1846 also born in Ohio. Their son JAMES HAWK 00/May/1864 married Clara Elizabeth HUSTON born 19/April/1868. From census records it looks as if Eliza possibly died after 1870 and Peter married Mary (born in WI) before 1875 as she and children (oldest, Jacob, aged 5) are listed on the 1880 census.
If you recognize these names and can pass me any info, appreciate it.
I suppose there could have been a divorce of Peter and Eliza. Thanks for any help. Diane Maschino (Christopher's mom)
I did all of your edits with the exception of changing Margaret's surname to Nelson. Since it is listed as Weirath on the stone, it should be recorded that way so that no one accidentally duplicates it. However, I did put her full name in the bio so it is googleable that way, as well as the info about her marriage. I see that you think she and Fred were divorced, and I concur - that is probably why she is buried with her parents and under her maiden name.

Hello - I have added the obituary for Robert. Thank you.
Just doing some research on my family and noticed we have family in common. Your grandmother, Elizabeth "Carol" Strock married my uncle Darrell Taylor. David Taylor at email@example.com
