|Marty Stevenon||Found a lone grave for Belia Seay|
While walking my dogs this afternoon, I went down this little lane. On this Lane are two very nice homes that no one is currently living in.
Right across from these houses there is a small hill with a little stand of trees. But, nestled within the trees I stumbled upon what I thought was a rock outcropping covered over with grass;
I found to my surprise what turned out to be a grave marker. I removed the grass and debris and read the inscription: Belia Seay 1886-1968.
That is all it said and I thought, I wonder if any of her surviving relatives, ever knew about her or even that she is buried up on this small hill inside a little stand of trees down this lonely little lane, in Greeneville, TN.

I found them on ancestry.
Was he married by any chance?

You left a message with flowers on the above memorial. Do you know William's middle name and who his parents were by any chance? I sure would appreciate the info, as I am doing family research. Thank you so much for all your contributions to Find A Grave.
|Dennis ||RE: Nicholas Susong house|
I'll find out in the near future. Also, I was at the Greene County Archives last Thursday and they had a photo of the Nicholas Susong home. I didn't ask which Nicholas it belonged to but I think it's Nicholas. son of Andrew. I'll also check that too. I'll get back with you later.

|Dennis ||Nicholas Susong Homestead|
Just to let everybody know that the Nicholas Susong homestead photo you have added to this site did not belong to Nicholas Susong, son of Andrew Susong. It belonged to a younger generation Nicholas Susong. My search for this homestead began when I saw a drawing of this home that was made by a lady from Johnson City. She thought that this was indeed Nicholas and Elizabeth Susong's home- and I did too!!! Me and a few of my kin searched and found it off the old Asheville hwy in Greene County, TN. The photo you have was made by me. However, after contacting a Greene County genealogy researcher I discovered that Nicholas and Elizabeth never owned land out here. So, this incorrect info spread like a bad virus!!!!! Sorry bout that, I'll correct my ancestry.com family tree.
