Hi, I'm back
As all my friends may have noticed, I've been away for a good while. The reason for that is that I've suffered an unthinkable loss, I lost my eldest son David due to an undetected heart condition. His illness and unfortunate loss drove me into a deep and painful depression. I've been ill myself and just unable to socialize in any way, shape, or form. I'm trying to get my life back to normal, one day at a time, and will soon be saying hello to my good and dear friends here at find a grave. Thanks and God bless you all.
****IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE, PLEASE VISIT MY SON DAVID'S MEMORIAL, I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO PUT IT TOGETHER SOMEHOW! MEMORIAL #111365436 PLEASE, KINDLY DO SAY A PRAYER FOR HIM IF YOU CAN!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVING SUPPORT AND KIND WORDS OF SYMPATHY, FOR THEY HAVE MEANT THE WORLD TO ME!!****
****MY MOST HEARTFELT GRATITUDE TO ALL OF YOU WHO, SO KINDLY, TOOK THE TIME TO VISIT MY SON ON HIS FIRST ANGEL DAY. YOUR GORGEOUS TOKENS AND BEAUTIFUL MOVING WORDS HELPED ME THROUGH THIS MOST DIFFICULT DAY. MY SONS PAUL AND STEVEN WERE MOVED TO TEARS AND ARE VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU ALL AS WELL. IT'S COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT HERE AT FIND A GRAVE WE ARE ALL FRIENDS THAT REALLY CARE AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER WITH OUR RESPECTIVE GRIEF. EVERY WORD I READ FELT LIKE A HUG, AND BELIEVE ME I'LL NEVER FORGET THAT!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL****
Hi! My public name is Osiris, though a male name for he's the Egyptian God of the afterlife (rebirth), it has a female ring to it and I just love the name!
I live in the North side of Chicago. I have Social Services background. Blessed with 3 grown sons David, Paul & Steven, 3 adorable Birillos (dogs) Rosie, Sookie, and (Charlie)Krypto. I don't like to call my babies "dogs" because people use that word too loosely in disparaging ways (I came up with that name since I was a little girl, and don't know where that word came from.) We also have a cat Anastasia Millie Marie Beaverhoussen Putinsky (my son Steven named her.) I also have 2 love birds Jeffrey and Ina, and they just became the proud parents of baby bird Junior!!
I found this site searching for the final resting place of a friend, and it was love at first sight!! I've always been interested
in cemeteries, because behind every name in every stone there is a story, there is history. I see a grave and think of all the unsaid words, for death got in the way... I think of the loved ones left behind with questions that cannot easily be answered, the sadness, the sense of loss, the countless tears, and the heartache that time just doesn't really take away... I know, for I'm one of those loved ones left behind!!
But Find A Grave give us the opportunity to visit those gone before us at any time, to honor our relatives, old friends, as well as new ones. To comfort each other by doing something beautiful for our loved ones and making sure they're still part of our reality...that they're not forgotten!!
If you have a few minutes, please visit my good friend Eric Arroyo's Memorial # 3224291. The only person who visits him is me. He's a Us Veteran who was a true sunshine. It saddens me to see that no one else remembers him!!! Thanks

I have put your friend, Eric, in my virtual cemetery for special angels who need flowers. Maybe that will help.

I just saw the lovely token that you left for Bill. Thank you! Today would have been our 25th wedding anniversary.

I enjoy placing tokens on memorials and also enjoy reading about the loved ones of other Find A Gravers. Thank you so much for taking the time to write me. I also have been through a terrible loss, but it was not unexpected. My husband was ill for several months before he went home to be with the Lord. He is now free from his suffering.
I will remember your family in my prayers. Have a blessed day.

Bless you for your kind words. The ache from Kevins loss will never go away. Bless you.

It was an honor to visit and to be the first person to give him a token. My late husband died when we were 27. It's not the same as losing a child but does give a person a new understanding about life and loss.
