I grew up near Blooming Prairie in Steele County, Minnesota. I live in Rochester, Minnesota now. I LOVE local history and genealogy and I am always ready to solve a stubborn genealogical mystery.|

|Dolores Reaman||George Washington Carpenter|
Gary, June 30, 2013
Thanks to you and all the contributors of Find A Grave for your work and dedication. Here in Pennsylvania, This upcoming week is the Battle of Gettysburg and it brought back memories of our ancestors who joined the Union army.
I have additional family information for George Washington Carpenter:
He had two daughters with Rosa Bella Lord Carpenter
Maude Irene Carpenter Stemmer - 1877 -1944
May A Carpenter Bowman - 1872 - 1901
I know that Maude Irene Carpenter Stemmer is on Find A Grave.
Thank you again,
Dolores & Ron Reaman
Gary, Thank you for the pictures and obits for the LeBeaus. You have done a terrific job with your genealogy and having updated these already just amaze me. Thankyou. J Johns
Thank you for the added info. It has been updated to the memorial.

May I transfer him to you, Gary? That way you could say something to straighten out any confusion future researchers might have? I am so glad you returned to see that I put that on there because it worried me. Let me know if I can transfer him to you.

I am related from Henry's daughter Lena Hanson Shill in Union Cemetery. I am trying to organize her family. Is her mother Marin Kristine (Christine) buried there? I saw this on the lot info you posted but not in Find A Grave. I also added the lot card to Henry if that was ok with you.

I cannot get the link to work, however I am able to get on your tree on Ancestry and that has been a HUGE help! Thanks so much for that! I just began my husband's side on Monday when I visited his mother's cousin in Cedar Falls and was given a few names. Wow! This snow day early-out from school has been a blessing for me & genealogy. Thanks so much! And by the way, I can see that you must be a distant cousin to my husband, but you probably saw that.

Thank you very much Gary for all of your work! We are finding relatives on my husband's side in this cemetery that I thought were lost! I truly appreciate your work with the photographs and uploading them in such a timely manner. Thanks so much!

thanks for answering. yes.i am peggy meyer. Do you know who i would contact to have these memorials turned over to me? I was able to add my husband as his obituary wasn't in the owatonna paper and i haven't put up a marker for him yet so whoever is adding these memorials missed him. my mom died in dec and i was surprised to see her obit on the cemtery site already! her ashes will be buried with her babies at union cemetery this summer.

Hi Gary!Thank you for posting all this information! Many relatives of mine are buried here. My father and grandfather were born on the Meyer farm that the cemetery is cut out of. I would like many of these graves transferred to myself. I also have some information to add. I am new to this site and still learning to navigate. Did lots of family history 30 yrs ago pre PC and now getting back to it using a PC.

I'm sorry, I don't have any additional information at this time. If I do discover any, I'll be happy to share with you.
