In the spring of 2010, I became interested in finding out more about my father's family. My g-g-g-g grandfather, John P Lyle, settled in Paulding Co, Georgia, sometime before 1840. It is thought that he received land in the 1832 land lottery of the Cherokee lands. I worked on the LYLE family tree and then started looking for the graves of my extended family. I spend the majority of my time looking for graves in Paulding County and the counties that surround Paulding. Now that I am retired, this is a great way to fill in those extra hours when I need something to do. I have found it to be very rewarding. |
I have to give credit to my brother, Tom 'CC' Lyle, and to my 1st cousin once removed, Dianne Eberhardt, for allowing me to use a lot of their genealogy research information in several of my FAG memorials.

I see a memorial for a Unice Mathews, but did not see a stone. All the ones you asked for are in a family plot. There are some unmarked stones in ths cemetery.
|Nancy Cornelius||Alvin Hollin|
Afraid I needed to explain better. The spelling on his memorial reflects the name on his stone. I assume the last name is wrong on his stone. I did put his parents as an edit, but was not sure of the spelling of his last name; so you just need to edit his already memorial.
|Nancy Cornelius||RE: David Monroe and Victoria Holland|
His memorial is posted as Alvin Hollin like his marker
|Nancy Cornelius||David Monroe and Victoria Holland|
There are several spellings of this last name in this cemetery. Holland, Hollind, and Hollin. Monroe and Victoria I believe has a son buried next to them that has a name of Avlin Hollin.
|Brenda Taliaferro||Mahulda Kirkland|
You have excellent records for Huldy on your sight. I would like a picture of her grave and if her husband George Kirkland is buried there. Her siblings? Her children. One is named Ida Kirkland. Thank you for any help. Thanks for posting her.
|Nancy Cornelius||Matthews at Zion|
There is a Matthews daughter of JT who married a Dickens. The stone is hard to read but the memorial is put in as a man... Egbert Dickens. I will ask for an edit. I did not see Egbert's stone.
|Nancy Cornelius||Holland family|
There are alot more of this family than you requested. I think I got them all.

You are most welcome. Did you want the Milner family too. Ella Milner Cummings family. She married John L Cummings, son of Emma Akins & John L.B. Cummings.

Infant Child: Minnie Lee Cummings.
Son: John L Cummings and wife Ella Milner Cummings.
Their son: John L. Cummings Jr whose memorial I added. b.June 2, 1935 - d.July 30, 2006. You may edit it or I will transfer management to you if you wish.
