Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. See Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Esther McPeek Ingle Memorial #8735667
I noticed that Memorial #8735667 Esther McPeek Ingle
has the wrong picture of the grave maker. The Maker is of John H. Ingle instead of Esther McPeek Ingle.
You may want to remove John and if you have Esther's
put her maker photo.
Thanks, Connie

What a pity! How to contact other people who photograph the cemeteries of Passaic?
Beforehand thank you.

Maria Snedeker Way
Thank you for your hard work! Maria Snedeker's first husband was Elijah Hendricks at Find A Grave Memorial# 16810986. Samuel R Way was her second husband, who is listed at Find A Grave Memorial# 16811007.

Samuel R Way
Other records show that Samuel R Way at Find A Grave Memorial# 16811007 died on 24 Jul 1848 (instead of 1818). He was the son of Richard Way and Sarah Hyatt. Jane Snedeker Way, the daughter of Samuel R Way and Maria Snedeker Hendricks Way, is at Find A Grave Memorial# 70568382.

Yup, if it's not aviation or antique/warbird airplanes, he's pretty much not interested. I finally called a halt to so many airshows the year the performers started recognizing us by the beach pop-up I had for the kids to keep them from roasting & give them someplace to spread out, play & nap. That's just way too many airshows in one summer season when the people performing on the circuit actually recognize you w/o you being related to them or w/in their performance community or in their circle of personal friends.

I'm a great believer in combining tasks all in the same area to save on gas. We only stopped that day because we were right there & I'd been trying to get to that cemetery for the best part of a year.

Find a grave Jean Morere
I am French and I wish to find descendants of a cousin of my grandmother : Jean (John MORERE) been born March 8th, 1914 in New York, died on December 21st, 1995 to Passaic New Jersey.
Maybe is he buried to the Holly Sépulcre Cemetery with his wife Liliane A Guidone Morere ? Can find yourselves their grave and send me the photo.
I am looking for potential legal successors of the concession. I would like to get in touch with them for genealogical exchange.
Beforehand thank you.
Best regards.

Sorry for Google traduction

Hello Rich,
My father Jesse R. Offringa (Find A Grave # 6799365) is at Maryrest Cemetery. Recently, a military marker was added to his burial stone. Is it possible to have a new photo taken and placed on his file?
Thank you.

Too funny.

Mine like to remind me of my getting locked in a cemetery a couple of years ago. They still think that was hilarious especially since they weren't with their father & I but were the potential rescue party.

It apparently happens a lot in the summer when it stays light nearly until 9pm because when I called the local police non emergency number to give them the data on our car which we were going to leave by the cemetery office & wanted to find there the next day when we came back for it, the officer answering sounded quite amused, too & then proceeded to tell us how to get ourselves & our car out.

Turns out at this cemetery, way in a back corner where no one can see it or would think to look, there's a service gate. Open during normal hours but after hours shut & locked. However, if one is trapped inside, you can drive up to it, wait a moment for the sensors to detect you, then it will open long enough to drive out.

I thought the whole affair was a fun adventure but my husband has no sense of humor. He was really grumpy about the whole thing esp. since he hadn't wanted to stop in the first place. I haven't gotten him to go to a cemetery with me since.

Not a problem....I needed a spot of humor so it was well appreciated.

And given the volume of memorials you create, things like that are bound to happen.

I envy you & hope some day to have the time in life to be able to go out, cover a cemetery - we've many small "family farm" cemeteries where I am, some done & on Find A Grave, others not yet - just get everyone remembered and maybe in the process, help family now find their ancestors.

Take care & thanks again for all your efforts!
