I have been interested in cemeteries and such since I was a little boy. It started waaaay back when I would visit my grandmother in Springfield, IL (I cannot count the number of times I have been to Lincoln's Tomb at Oak Ridge Cemetery). Since then, I have frequented many a final resting place across many parts of the USA.|
As for the transferring of memorial pages, I have no qualms about it, just as long as there is good reason or sense behind the request.

I sent a request to have the name edited on memorial # 55913296 from Sarah to Sallie. After further research and confirmation through various census reports, it seems that both Sarah and Sallie are correct.
The request to add spouse was merely for the purpose of adding Sarah and Richard's year of marriage.
Thank you for making these records available!! :)

Only by marriage. I don't know who Ellie was married to, but I am sure it was to a brother or a half brother of these 2 sisters. There are several possibilities.

It looks like the other profile was deleted. I was hoping to get the info combined since the other one had the obit. I'll see if I can find an archived copy.

Is Zeno T. Harris III one of your relatives? If so, I hope you can share his family history with me.
Zeno's grandmother is my 2 x great-grandmother - Harriet Margaret Hawkins.
Harriet's first husband was Zeno T. Harris, Sr. (1803-1834)
Harriet's second husband was John R. Allen
My family line comes from her second marriage.

My direct e-mail is email@example.com
Will that help?
|Carol Adams Rowlands Hays||James S Rawlings|
Apparently the cemetery gave you an incorrect location for the gravesite of James S Rawlings.
Will you kindly delete the photo of the grassy plot area from this memorial since I've added a photo? James S Rawlings, 1870-1953 in Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis - Memorial #80492792.
Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much for your kindness. God Bless you for all of your hard work in helping others.

"FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."
You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.
Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.

I see that you claimed the photo request I put out. Can I ask if I have to do anything for the next step? I'm still new on this site, and haven't found the answer to that particular question.
