My maternal grandfather died when I was about nine. Afterwords, I kept seeing gravestones and the actual information on them. It kept me from sleeping. Perhaps that is why I photograph memorials as a Find a Grave volunteer. Cemeteries have sculpture that is mostly affected by weather. |
Watch a fascinating video clip about the late Chicago Cemetery Lady, Helen Sclair and Lincoln Park (City) Cemetery. http://video.wttw.com/video/1371687619/
All your thanks and appreciations are welcomed and also appreciated in advance and from the past.

Thanks for this! Interestingly enough, I was there all day today for an Association of Gravestone Studies chapter meeting and tour! 'Tis the season for cemetery outings! Thanks for thinking of me!

Thank you for taking a photo of these headstones in All Saints Cemetery. The relative who I have been working with on this family who lives in Texas will appreciate it very much.

Thank you for taking a photo of the front of the mausoleum "placard".
Hoping you didn't have a difficult time locating.
Would it be possible to jot down, for me, the location, within the mausoleum ?
|Sue Hale Sheppard||grave marker of Frederick Snite|
Thank you for fulfilling my request for a close-up photo of the grave marker for Frederick Snite, "the man in the iron lung".
You will see in my profile picture a picture of my father who also used an iron lung due to polio.
I would be pleased if you would visit his memorial from the link in my Bio.
Thanks so much for finding the grave of my uncle. This also helps with identifying the others in his family.
