Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have always loved cemeteries, just walking through and looking at the graves. I have been fortunate enough to have wonderful volunteers who posted information on the families that I'm researching back in Indiana and Virginia and I just want to give something back. I've been in East Baton Rouge Parish (Baton Rouge), Louisiana since 1982. I did not become interested in genealogy until 2004. I hope to post pictures for cemeteries in and around Baton Rouge. I was fortunate enough to get duplicate copies of several issues of the Louisiana Genealogical Register (intermittent copies from the late 1960's thru 2002)and I'm entering all the cemeteries I find listed in these copies so there may be new graves in these cemeteries since these were published (in some instances 40 years ago).

I am researching the following families: Ludington, Degener, Spurlock, Robbins, Sparks, Wilkerson, Depue (Depew), Wallstead, Frogness, Rector, Ludwig, Rice, Christopher and Henry.

PLEASE NOTE: Any old family photos that I upload to the FAG site are my personal pictures that have been handed down through my extended family to me. I consider myself to be the owner of these photos.

Thank you so much for maintaining a memorial for my great - great grandfather and for transferring it to me.

Mary Hines Burruss McGehee #69082024
Hello Pamela ... Thanks for your great work recording many graves in Eastern Louisiana and Southern Mississippi. One of the memorials you recorded was for the lady above. I wrote a suggested edit to you regarding a link to her mother. Also, you stated that she was a daughter of a McGehee, but she was married to Edward McGehee who died in 1880 and is buried at the same cemetery (Find A Grave #69081581). Her parents were John C. And Elizabeth Brane Burruss. Elizabeth B. Burruss is also buried in this same cemetery (d. 1829). She is #69080199. Could you please link Mary Hines Burruss with her correct mother, and also with her husband, Edward McGehee? Thank you so much.

Duplicate Memorial Pagesin Redhead Family Cemetery and in Gayden Cemetery
Dear Ms. Rice,

I have written the following note to William Spink regarding memorial pages he has duplicated. The pages were created by you and he has made a second Memorial for certain ancestors:

Redhead Cemetery and Gayden Cemetery, Mississippi
Dear Mr. Spink.
There appears to be duplicate memorials in both of the subject cemeteries.

Dr. Joseph Redhead (70746679) was created by Pamela Jean-Ludington-Wallstead-Rice (Member #47157216) on June 2, 2011. Your memorial for Joseph Redhead (74505122) was created on August 6, 2011. As I understand it, Find A Grave wants only one memorial created for a person.

In the Gayden Cemetery, Mary Elizabeth Gayden Redhead the Memorial7946792 created by Pamela on 2 Jun 2011 is duplicated in the Memorial74504724 you created on 6 August 2011.

Find A Grave has provided an Edit tab for suggestions by anyone wanting to add information to a Memorial. This is to assure that duplicate pages are not created. You may want to find out how to get the duplicate Memorials removed and add any new information through the edit tab.

Julio Buel Robinson
You have Julio Buel Robinson (1889-1965) with parents Lea Borden Robinson and Helen Barney. I have been unable to find him in any records associated with those parents. I have the 1910 US Census where there is a JB Robinson, born in 1890, and the 1900 US Census where Jas Robinson is listed, born August 1888. Do you have any other sources that would put him in that family?

I am appreciative of the work you have done with pictures and links to families and so on. It is so very helpful.

RE: Charles T Harrison 42618774
Thanks for responding.
Charles wife was Dora Ramsey and she is in Henry Co as widowed.
I am going to search for any record that they were in LA. Funny I found a record for a Thomas & Dora Harrison in LA in 1952 but that cannot be them. That is how I found your memorial. Charles's name was Charles Thomas.
Love the research.

Charles T Harrison 42618774
I see you maintain this memorial.
Do you know if this Charles married to a Madelon Tyler & Dora Ramsey in Henry Co, TN?
I am working to locate this Charles Thomas Harrison.
Any info on your Charles would be appreciated to confirm this is also the Charles I am looking for.

Willie Perkins Talbert # 116357023
Would you please make the correction on Willie Parkins Talbert's memorial. It states that Missouri Talbert # 7801019 was his sibling, when in fact she was his mother.

Thank you from a Talbert relative.

Lloyd Anthony Babin
Hi! I notice you posted a duplicate record for Lloyd Babin (same death date, same birth year, they just listed him as Lloyd A Babin). Would you consider deleting it, so we don't have 2 records for the same person.

RE: Penelope Jones
Pam, since only three pictures of the grave can be put on each member's page, the ones that are there now are probably the best representation of what is there. Just thought you might be interested in the details of the other one. Happy graving to you as well!! Ken
