I have always loved cemeteries ever since I was a little girl. Where ever I go I try to find a cemetery to visit. I guess all the people on this site feel the same way, that's why here I am not so unusual. Now that I am married I have to try to get my husband to join me but I have not been so successful, I guess I will have to keep trying | |

Good afternoon,
My name is Kina and I have volunteered to locate Margaret for you. I just wanted to make sure of the birth dates for her. I went to the cemetery and the dates they have was 1904-1960.I took the picture but just wanted to check with you if it was the right person. This was the only Margaret Levee , they had. Let me know

I found some info on Samuel if you'd like to add to his page:
Born: 1872
Died: February 17, 1931 in New York of heart trouble.
Ferkauf was a Jewish character actor who had worked on the stage for over 30 years and was prominent in the Jewish Actors' Union. His wife Betty Ferkauf was also a stage actress.

Hi Helaine:
In your Find A Grave Memorial# 14337471, from Mr. David Alleno, into the biography you wrote "in the Recoletta". It's not correct, because the name of the cemetery is Recoleta, with only a "t".
I hope you correct it.

Helaine,
I believe that this Laura is your cousin. I looked up the burial date and compared that with the public death records for Laura Rose and it looks like a match. I have requested that our volunteer cemetery headstone photographers take a photo of Laura's headstone & add it to her memorial. This should help to confirm if it is your cousin.
