I am retired so I have time to walk through the cemeteries and take pictures. In mid July 2010 I started a project to record as many memorials for the cemeteries in my county (Broome, NY) with pictures that I could. This project is drawing to a close. I have completed all the cemeteries that I am working on. There are still 4 other cemeteries being worked on by others. I have moved on to cemeteries in Susquehanna PA and Tioga NY.

The following link will show all the cemeteries in the surrounding counties photographed (by me and others!) and added to Find A Grave:

Broome County NY Cemeteries
Tioga County NY Cemeteries
Susquehanna County PA Cemeteries

RE: Canfield Cemetery Photos Allen and Cowell
I see what you mean. It is fine the way it is, just odd. Thank you again for your efforts. -- MC

Oak Grove Cemetery Photos
Paul:
Thank you so much for the effort you took to photograph my Ockerman ancestor tombstones in the Oak Grove Cemetery. I am from Norwich and must have driven by this cemetery a 1000 times, but now that I have retired to FL do not have the opportunity. You have been a great help. Thanks again.

Canfield Cemetery Photos Allen and Cowell
Thank you for the photographs at Canfield cemetery of the Allens and Prudence Cowell. I've been waiting almost a year for somebody to fulfill these requests! With regard to Prudence Cowell ( http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=114469065 ), the picture you posted is upside down. I was wondering if it is possible to turn it around? It would be much apppeciated. Thank you. M Clements.

James W Gibb
Hi Paul:

Many thanks for you response to my email.

Last night I added the parent Find A Grave links to the record for James White Gibb so he could "join the family". I received an email early this morning from you - through Find A Grave - rejecting the request because the data conflicted with what you knew. I presumed, consequently, that I needed to send you additional documentation about James Gibb. I think I need to email the creator of the James White Gibb record with the additional documentation.

That was my purpose in writing.

Many thanks for all the wonderful work you do for Find A Grave.

Many thanks
Hello Paul...

Many thanks for your efforts in photographing tombstones. Because of your efforts, I was able to see my cousin, Margot's marker and that of her father, my uncle, Howard.
What you are doing is so valuable to family members who have not been able to go to the cemeteries.
Best regards,
Suzanne Roberts
