For me, photographing cemeteries has evolved from an interest in genealogy, nature, and a quest for understanding life. I enjoy following the paths of my ancestors, searching for their final resting places. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Finding graves brings a rush that makes the search worthwhile. Photo volunteer work is just a small way of contributing and giving something back to others. Cemeteries are by nature peaceful places, and I enjoy the peace I find while searching. Yet, my favorite cemeteries are those that are filled with activity, either relatives visiting their loved ones, joggers, or people walking their dogs.
Currently Pekin IL is home base (but I love to travel).

A photo volunteer reported that the marker you posted on Amy's memorial page is for Adam and Mary C. McInturff. (See Harry Boyd's message on my profile page.) So please delete your photo for Amy's memorial. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for finding this and sending the photo to me.
I almost cry when I think of my family having to endure burying a sweet little girl. They divorced and each remarried. She had a son and he had about 13 other children. I am so grateful to you for going out of your way for me.

Thank you! Thank You!

Have not had the chance to do much on the site for awhile. I ad moved way out in the country, and there was no internet service at all. I just saw in email that you provided a photo for my Ancestor.
Wishing you a great weekend, and again, thank you so much for your time and effort obtaining the photo.
