Greetings from Rutland County, Vermont!
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and the following:
INFO/CORRECTIONS Please use the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial in question.
If at all possible, please provide a source (an unsourced family tree on the internet - not a good source). I do try and verify, as unfortunately I do get sent a lot of incorrect info.
I will not link to a memorial without final disposition information. PERIOD. Please do not ask. See here and here. If you did not know the final disposition, you should not have made a memorial.
I will not add post-1922 obits.
TRANSFERS Within guidelines, yes! Always! Please state your exact relationship in your request so I know it is within guidelines, and I'll take care of it right away.
As of March 12, 2013, I no longer do out of guidelines transfers for a multitude of reasons, the chief one being an increasing number of abusive, over the top reactions to the word "no". Memorials don't make themselves...in my case, almost all were done by me being "in the field". It's hard work, done out of my love of cemeteries and local history. I don't need to "own" the memorials for all my relatives, and you don't either. If you really want to make a memorial as complete as possible, please send me the info via the edit tab.
USE OF MY PHOTOS Please feel free to use my photos for your research! No need to ask. All I ask is that if it is going elsewhere on the web, just provide a photo credit along the lines of "Photo by Jen Snoots, Findagrave.com". Please use only within reason, do not help yourself to entire cemeteries full of my photos.
All grave and cemetery photos added by me on this site were taken by me, and if you see them elsewhere without my name attached to them, I consider them as having been used without permission.
The above pertains to MY PHOTOS ONLY, not to other contributors photos. Per site policy: "Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo."
LINKS WORTH CHECKING OUT -County Cemetery Maps -Family Search (Free alternative to Ancestry) -Nationwide Gravesite Locator, Dept. of Veterans Affairs -Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries Transcription Project -Vermont in the Civil War (I contribute there also) -Cemeteries I've Completed
Requests for memorial corrections, additions or transfers left below will be deleted without action. Use the edit tab. General questions or comments only below, please. Thanks!

 | RE: Oliver Hazard Perry # 23380090 Jenn,
Thanks for getting back to me. I guess I am a stickler for detail.
Anyway, I check the register of Navy and Marine Corps officers from the 19th Century - http://www.history.navy.mil/books/callahan/reg-usmc.htm#P
I didn't find a Oliver Hazard Perry as a Marine Corps officer but I did find his (apparent) brother William F. Perry listed as a Marine 2nd Lieutenant.
Where did you hear that OHP was a Marine officer. I won't claim my source is infallible but I would be good to find another one.
Thanks,

 | Bush family Jen, Thank you for critiquing my site. If you could possibly send a direct e-mail, it would be helpful to me to learn how to manage relatives with more than one marriage. | | | kfrenfro
