Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the discovery of information about people from my past, where they lived, children, parents. I love walking the cemeteries. What a peaceful place. Although I'm aware not everyone feels that way. Probably here, everyone understands what I mean.

I look forward to adding the information that I have and continuing to search for what I don't.

31920678 Abraham Shockey in Lewisburg Cemetery
Hi, the record for Abraham Shockey shows he was born in Virginia and his parents were Abraham and Margaret Shockey. I show that he was born in Pennsylvania. Some people are showing his father as John Aaron Shockey. Do you know who provided the information for this and what documentation they have? I am a descendant of his daughter Susannah Shockey Moon. Do you know if any of the family is still in the Wayne/Decatur area?

Thanks,
Kaylene Silvester

RE: Hawkes @ St Margarets
It is quite possible. We only have the Burial Register from 1969 here, the earlier ones went to the London Metropolitan Archive. The database and paperwork we have filed here does not include these names. Sorry.

I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer these memorials to me. I'm one of their 2nd great granddaughters.

Thanks,
Jennifer Hefner

Transfers
Many thanks for the transfers - I'll take very good care of them. :)

I've been looking forward to sunny days so that I can get out into churchyards and discover more of these lovely people who are no longer with us. (Gone but not forgotten). :)

Burnham Westgate
Hello There!

I'm not related to any of them but the church isn't that far from me. I wouldn't mind maintainging any that I have taken photos for. I tend to want to research the people when I've take a photo of the gravestone so you can transfer any that I've taken photos for if all the suggestions and additions are getting a bit much. ;)

Best wishes,

Lynn aka FamilyHistoryAddict

John Hedrick
I have fulfilled your request for John, and there was another headstone next to his that I have a photo of if you'd like it. It reads - Kinder O., son of John & Francis Hedrick, Mar. 7, 1894 - Oct. 7, 1903.

If you can create the memorial, I will add the photo if you'd like.

Thanks,
Cindi

Hinds In Thew Cemetery
I'm not sure of your question about 17793858, George Hinds. There are two buried there, father and son. I posted photos for both, and as best I can tell, they are both in order. I also took a photo for another son, Joseph, and will add it if a memorial page is posted. Feel free to email me if you have further questions.
