|Anonymous II||RE: Pringle|
Thank you for the info. Do you know dates? Any chance that you know where the second Barzilla Pringle was buried? Hilda

I was born in Taney County, my parents were Bob Braden and Brenda Cobb Braden Oakes.....I graduated from Forsyth in 1988.
I did some digging and found out that one of the Sallazes that I found is Vincent's brother, A.P. Sallaz. They both are the sons of Ferdinand and Sarah (my mind went blank)Sallaz. I hope this is helpful to you.

I saw your photo request for Vincent and Angeritta Sallaz under the photo requests for Fairplain Cemetery, Jackson County, WV. I went up there yesterday to look for them. I did not find them during yesterday's visit, but I did find others with the Sallaz name. I am adding memorials and was wondering if you are interested in any of them. Those with the Sallaz name that I found: A. P., Rebecca J., Alfred, and Mary.

Thank you for transferring Ruby Hensley's memorial to me. I appreciate it very much.
The link has been made for Viola to her father. This is not a relation of mine and I would be happy to transfer Viola's memorial to you.
|JARROTT P. COX||RE: Gravestone Rubbings|
Yes I have used tin foil it works fairly well according to how much wear there is on stone . It takes a little practice on rubbing it just right ,I use an old wash rag . lighting has a lot to do with photographing a stone ,I take a large peace of card board that is white on one side ,I use it to both shade or reflect light on the stone according to what I need . I also have a black light in My kit, As well as a metal mirror , Also angle can make a world of difference . An ideal day is when it is a little cloudy ,but Its hard to find a good day there for the need for a kit. I also have a real soft horse hair brush to brush off the dirt ,if cemetery is near a dusty road You be surprised how much dirt is on a stone. As for lichens growing on the stone it is another kettle of fish ,there are chemicals for this but I don't use them . If it a family member of mine I use a plastic bristled brush and get them off because theses little critters are actually eating the stone. But If its someone else's I leave it alone or get permission . Hope this helps a little . J Cox
|Karon Murphy Hall||Gerald Christian|
Photo request in Garden Point cemetery at Etowah, Arkansas, Mississippi County. Did not find a headstone for this name. I have transcribed the whole cemetery and did not find a headstone for a Gerald. I did find and have a photo for Joseph Lee Christian 2/5/1890-3/27/1967. Could this be the Gerald you are requesting a photo of??
