RE: hi Rosie
Hi Delita, that is wonderful news about how well Dana is doing with the chemo treatments!

Sorry to hear you are still having problems with your thyroid. I've heard it can be difficult to get that regulated. Hopefully it won't take much longer. Love & Hugs, Rosie

Hi Delita,
I saw your letter on Rosie's page. I'm glad to hear that Dana seems to be responding to chemo. Also hope you get the thyroid meds adjusted so you will feel better. Take care of yourself and your family.

Dear Delita,
How wonderful to hear that even a word or two I have written may matter, someday...I noticed that you already put the poem up. =) You should go into editing, because you got it on layout perfectly. ha! I actually found out today that a poem about Mom and Dad, "Route 66 Is Mine" is reprinting again in an upcoming anthology...I kind of look at that as a little hello from Mom and Dad that they're around, and no doubt have tracked Allison down to tell her about their kid the writer, and that they were the inspiration for it all. ha! again! I just put 'Route 66' up on my brother Ron's page, if you want to hear a little more about our background and life with Jr. and Jeannie...fascinating, wonderful train wrecks, as I say, that I miss each and every day. =) Lastly, next time Lady reprints, if it's all right with you and Allison's family, I'll make sure to not only donate the royalties, as said, to lupus research, but I'll tag it 'for Allison'. It would be a complete honor to do so...Take Care, and stay in touch. Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Gypsy Doyle
It is with a sad heart that I write this today. My daughter's loving Dog Gypsy of 17 years passed away today. It has been so very hard on my daughter she has lost her best friend. We have cried and spent the last hours of Gypsy's life giving her love and support. We was hoping she would be able to go on her own, but she was getting so bad we had to have her put to sleep. Please leave a flower if you have time. I know it would help my daughter so much. Her memorial number is 132955637. Thank you so much for being my friend.

RE: Hi and Hugs! =)
...And the phone was ringing and I completely forgot to mention that I'm sorry, too, you didn't get through to Allison at the end, Delita - I'm sure she wouldn't want you to carry that around. Not knowing that it would be the last time I ever spoke to my mom, a few days before her passing (she went into a coma that night), she and I were talking and she said, "Rhonda, I have alot I still want to tell you, but I'm very tired, right now." I thought for a moment and then replied, "Well, you get some rest and we'll talk about it somewhere down the road, ok?". And that's what you and Allison will do, as far as I believe - we'll all have that day where we pull up chairs, sit down and take a long breath and say to one another "Okay, now, where'd we leave off?...." =) Have a good weekend - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Hi and Hugs! =)
Dear Delita,
How sweet of you to want to use my poem on Allison's page...of course, you're more than welcome to do so. =) Next time it reprints, I promise the royalties will go to the Lupus Foundation specifically in Allison's name...I don't know if you have Facebook, but my chosen profile photo for a few days is up as part of the Faces of Lupus campaign; I'm very proud of anything and everything I can do to draw attention to this disease. When my son Gannon received his diagnosis of autism way back in 1991, at the age of 3, very few people had heard of autism...I started broadcasting the subject every way I could, and it wasn't long before people were a little more up to date on the subject - that's what needs to be done with illness, always, always, always. We must never allow somebody to feel that the battle is hopeless, because it isn't - there is strength in numbers and support. Anyhow, Take Care and stay in touch, almost to the weekend, yay! =) Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue

Hi and Hugs! =)
Hi, Delita,
I wanted to take a second to thank you for visiting my pages again - I am always behind on return visits, but I am trying to get caught up. I wanted to mention that Allison's page will be in my thoughts for awhile, now - I am so sorry she had such a hard time here. I didn't want to go into it on her token scroll, but alot of folks on here know that I have a lupus diagnosis, and I always say this - the lupus is harder on me than a serious genetic neurological disease, and so that tells you how wicked that illness is. =( I write about it (if you Google my full name and just the word 'lupus', some of my publications will come up that are half decent and worth reading)...it is really a misunderstood illness that so many people don't seem to really comprehend, and it's easy to feel like you're fighting something completely alone. I think what has helped me is that I have always been so vocal about everything - that's a nice way of saying that I get up early to rant and rave! -. and I make sure that anybody who says "Oh, lupus...that's more or less just a stress illness, right?" gets a quick lesson in it. Anyhow, Take Care and again, thanks for the visits...it's very kind of you. Prayers to all your angels, including Allison and your daughter - =) Hugs, Me and Gannon Blue
