My totem, Percival Fugi, who left us much too soon. His heart was true and strong and he held us in the "palm of his paws".|
If I have created a memorial and I am not directly related to that person, I will gladly transfer it to a family member within the fourth generation FAG recommendation. While it gives me great pleasure to place a memorial into the hands of their family, I do reserve the right to not transfer individuals connected to my family.
Please include a separate edit link for each memorial you are requesting transferred, as well as your Find A Grave ID number, it is such a help to not have to search for each individual and it ensures each transfer is correct...assuming the memorial you requested is correct.
Plus, I am having health issues at the moment and my time on the computer is somewhat limited, so please bear that in mind.
Like many of you, I've added quite a bit of data to my family tree through the generosity of Find A Grave contributors and I firmly believe in Paying It Forward.
Sadly, some older cemeteries have been lost and with that loss has come graves that can no longer be identified. Many other gravestones are eroded by the passage of time and are no longer legible. Other cemeteries have been vandalized and severe storms and tornados have done their damage. These are just a few of the problems that beset our cemeteries, so thanks to all you Find A Gravers who are helping with their preservation.
We can add or correct a number of these omissions by simply logging on to Find A Grave and, as has been so aptly said by others, Paying It Forward.
Regarding transfers, Find A Grave recommends the following:
"...Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren..."
Transfers will be made within these FAG policy guidelines.

|Joe Riddle||DAR Death Date|
DAR has Mary Smith's death date as
14 - Oct - 1850
I put it on your Find a Grave for John McCracken
|Joe Riddle||John McCracken Family|
Got this from Ancestry but I think they had the wrong family name. My thought is that this is John McCracken and Elizabeth English's family including daughter Mary and son-in-law Henry Reddell. Which is which? Guessing Notes - Picture age match John & Elizabeth English age - They have 2 daughters and 2 sons. Man in back left and 2nd Man from right holding a baby look very similar - take it they are brothers.(James & Calvin) The couples on outside back look to be the next generation - the four family heads. Therefore - their sisters are the opposite couples. (MaryAnn youngest - looks to be 2nd Adult Female in back left then Louisa would be 1st Adult Female from back right).
Check it out. Maybe someone can confirm for us.
Again my line Henry Reddell - man with mustache.

My pleasure. I think it's ok to transfer management even if it doesn't exactly fit the Find A Grave guidelines.
|Joshua Edwards||Wow! Great Information!|
I started doing some research on my grandfather's (Hubert Nelson Alsup) genealogy, and I was very pleasantly surprised as to how much information I was able to find. Thanks to people like you who take the time and care about the history of family.
|Ruth Harris Carver||RE: Woodrow Highley|
Thank you for making the connection. I am always happy to get our family connected. It helps other researchers and helps us in turn find new cousins.
