For me, photographing cemeteries has evolved from an interest in genealogy, nature, and a quest for understanding life. I enjoy following the paths of my ancestors, searching for their final resting places. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Finding graves brings a rush that makes the search worthwhile. Photo volunteer work is just a small way of contributing and giving something back to others. Cemeteries are by nature peaceful places, and I enjoy the peace I find while searching. Yet, my favorite cemeteries are those that are filled with activity, either relatives visiting their loved ones, joggers, or people walking their dogs.

Currently Pekin IL is home base (but I love to travel).

Thank you so much for the headstone photograph of Minnie Lundry Henderson. Sorry it has taken me so long to say thank you, I ended up working on so many lines I am now just getting back.

I am so grateful for your time and sacrifice to take this photograph for me!

I see that you have taken lots of photos. I would like to have a photo taken and posted for James Rittenhouse and Elvarie Rittenhouse, Mt. Sterling City Cemetery, Ill. Location of graves-graves are in a line between the mausoleum and the road. Thanks Carol Rossel

Joseph Edward Armstrong
Sorry... forgot to say. I probably have Joseph Edward Armstrong's tombstone photo somewhere, but not sure. However, I noticed your photo has a little dead grass over some of the engravings. There is a photo of his stone attached to some ancestry.com trees, and it clearly says December 25, 1983 for his death. Kinda hard to tell on your pic though because of the dead grass covering the numbers a little. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks!
