I inherited by interest in genealogy from my mother, Doris Sue Spence Fontaine (Memorial # 83062091). Growing up, a Sunday afternoon ride through the country usually included a cemetery visit which I affectionately call a cemetery hop.|
A few years ago I decided to make her handwritten or typed pages into an electronic format after encouragement from family and friends. In many instances, she left behind clues for me to follow in my adventures today.
You are welcome to use any of the photos that have been posted to the memorials. I would appreciate if you would kindly give me credit for my efforts when using them.
~ I'm the Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Granddaughter of Rev Jaques James Fontaine IV and Anne Elizabeth Fontaine, Huguenot Refugees from France who first settled in Devonshire & later in Ireland.

My grandfather, Randolph Moore Kabrich did serve in the military during WWI, but I don't ever recall seeing a picture in uniform. I only know that he became very sick on the ship to Europe. I will ask my mother, and then her brother or sister if they know of any pictures.

|EAHJr||William Carr Allen|
I was notified that William Carr Allen and wife, Susan Sayers Morris Allen, are actually buried in the Millirons and Allen Families Cemetery in Pulaski, Va. These were created by the late Becky Sowers. There are already memorials for William and Susan Allen in that cemetery so Becky's are now duplicates. Please move your image of William and Susan's marriage certificate to the existing memorials in the Millirons and Allen Cemetery and I will delete the old ones. Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave!

How have you solved the mystery? The tombstone is in Maple Park Cemetery, but another family member shes was moved to Monte Vista. The cemetery no longer has any records.

I have been working on photo request at Ottawa Hills Cemetery in Toledo, OH and have managed to cut the requests in half! They do not allow photographers to photograph the stones so go when they are closed. With over 8000 graves, I've been calling to get exact locations but they know my voice by now. Would you please call their office and get the location for your request? Then I can have the photo within the next week! Thanks for your assistance! (419) 536-8321
Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

Find A Grave Memorial# 95246292 - Greenlawn cemetery has the name recorded as Winston Allen Fontaine. Is there an error or AKA? Also, if you are interested, I photographed his headstone if you would like an updated picture.
