Born in hamilton county ohio but raised in knox county ky around the girdler comunity. i had six brothers and no sisters. we were raised poor, most times up a holler. proud of my raising though. it lets me know how much more we have now that so many take for granted. i give god the praise and glory for all things.|
like everyone else, I do make mistakes. if you see one i,ve made i have no problem correcting it if you bring it to my attention. i think our loved ones deserve the respect we can give them through find-A-grave. sponsor a loved one.
please don,t add a bio to the flower section of a memorial that i have created, send me the info and i will add it with proper credit to you.
if I have added a photo to a memorial of yours you wish me to remove, please let me know along with the f.a.g memorial number. i try to get as many photo request as i can. if you have a request for a photo that has no directions or map to the cemetery, in most cases i will just pass it up. so, if you will add directions to the cemetery beside your request you might have more luck getting a photo of your stone.
Please ask before using one of my cemetery photo,s. I have done the leg work the least others can do is ask.
I sometimes send out obituaries to a memorial, this is to help connect deceased family members.
I want to thank everyone that has help link family members to their memorials. thank you one and all.

Afternoon, just wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial to me as she is my mother. I would like to be able to add information along with a photo of her if possible. Thanks for the consideration.

I have contacted with both marcie (#46615977) and angel6903 (#46869338) about the two memorials you wrote me. When they get back to me I will delete my memorial of both. Thank you for taking the time to make these memorials correct. I know it can be confusing sometime to keep connections straight. Thank you Althea

Mike feel to photograph if you wish. I have taken some pictures of the grave stones but not all.
Some did not turn out to good.
|April Pope||RE: 32489023|
Thank you so much, I'll be looking forward to it.

Mike, I drove down to the Hampton Cermetery today that I have Myrtle & Euel Hamiltons grave site posted.
When I found and posted the grave sites, 2004 there was a Hampton Cemetery sign at the side of the road.
The sign was not there today. The cemetery is up on a hill off the road about 100 ft., you can not see it from the road.
I thank the road is called the Little Brush Creek road.
The Davis Cemetery is on the same road 0.4 ths of a mile on down the road.
The directions to the cemetery: Take 25 E south past Barbourville, turn right on Rt.930 west.
Go on to Artenus, turn left on Rt. 225, go till you come to a sign on the right (Liberty Missionary Baptist Church)
Turn right over the hill, keep to your right till you come to a fork in the road, bear to the left, this is the Little Brush Creek
road I thank. Go 1.4 miles from the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church to the cemetery on the lift side of the road.
PS: Mike, this might be called the Hamilton Cemetery , and not the Hamptom.
I ask a man that came by and he said he though it was called the Hamilton Cemetery. There is no Hamilton Cemetery posted on Find A Grave in Knox Co. KY.
I may have to repost my entries and enter the site as the Hamilton Cemetery.
Mike, where is the Hampton Cemetery located where you took the pictures?
