I enjoy strolling through cemeteries. I am also working on my genealogy. Surnames include Widner-from Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, Flowers-Mainly from Byrdstown, Tennessee, Hodges, Long, Beam and many others.|
I think find a grave is a wonderful web site. If I send you a message about a duplicate, please don't get upset. I am just trying to keep the data clean. If you want a memorial transfered to you and they are not related to me just let me know. I could care less if it is within the FAG rules. I figure if you are asking for it then you have a need.

I recently took photos in Snow Cem Washington Co. and thus have an interest here. In looking for her spouse, John F. Berry, I found him and Lillie with photos in Smith Cem, Chattanooga, Hamilton Co. Find A Grave# 41727919 and 41727877. Is it probable she is not in Snow? Thanks. Val

Could you please transfer management of Alfred's memorial to myself? This is my great grandfather. It was only when you fulfilled my photo request for his wife, Anna, that I realized they were buried together. Thanks again for your help with the photo request for Anna and thanks for creating Alfred's memorial.

Thanks so much for the gravestone photo for Anna Southern, my great grandmother. You are most kind and I appreciate your time.

I did not know there was another page for Glenna when I added her to Memorial Park Cemetery. The page created for her at Memorial Park is the correct page, the other page is incorrect as she is not inured at Boston Avenue. She is buried beside her son, Maurice. Marker photos have been added to their pages. I have sent an email to Admin to have the two pages merged. Thank you for letting me know there was a duplicate. Red

Jeff, Thanks for the information about where to find Newton's grave. We located his grave Saturday, 14 Mar 2015. We have ordered a confederate stone for his grave. We hope to be able to set this stone, 18 Apr 2015. Again thanks for your help.

Thanks, that should get us in the right direction.

Jeff, We are looking for Newton Hodges grave. We have ordered him a confederate stone for his grave. We know he is in Gatlin, but not sure where. Can you give us a location on his grave or a GPS location? We will be looking for his grave Saturday, 14 Mar 2015. We will be putting down the stone around the middle of next month (April). We are with the Capt. Thomas H. Hobbs Camp 768, sons of confederate veterans. Any help would be appreciated.
ps, Do you know where Faulkner Cemetery is? Suppose to be West of Ardmore.

Lewis S. Bird, is NOT the son of Mitchell Campbell Bird. The CORRECT name is McCAMPBELL "CAM" ANDREW BIRD. It is confusing to say the name Mitchell because there was also a Mitchell Bird who was a brother to McCampbell Bird, and he has never been found. CAM BIRD died in the civil war, while serving in the 12th Kentucky Infantry, Company C. His date of death is listed as August 1864. Cam Bird/Byrd was the son of Andrew Bird/Byrd. That is also confusing because Andrew had a brother named Anderson Bird, and both apparently went by Andy.
