Our findagrave activity stemmed from my love of genealogy, photography and old gravestones, strengthened when we saw the damage one year of weather does to an older stone that cannot stand the test of time well. We believe everyone deserves to be remembered, beyond plain, cold statistics, and document as much as we are able, especially as we travel. This is a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Jim Tipton and friends!!
Do not use my photos without permission, and ask BEFORE you use them. Simple, reasonable.
I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully or I would not have crossed the world more than once to visit the resting place of my beloved ancestors. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. There is no need for rudeness. I understand why people leave Findagrave. Very sad.
PLEASE USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION for both updates requests and transfer requests or general inquiries about a particular memorial. I will ignore suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left here, as they are repeatedly. We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. It makes my day to have someone find one of my memorials and I can transfer them to family.

 | Wooten Family Anne, Forgot to mention that I found some other duplicates I entered in error for the Wooten's and I have deleted them. EdAdded by Ed Smith on May 18, 2013 10:00 AM | | | Ed Smith
 | Floy/Floyd Wootten Hi Anne, You asked me to add the 'd' and I did. I then found him in the records of the Burial Permit Book that I have and entered the information, but forgot to change the name back. The cemetery records and burial permit both show his name as Floy and I see by your photo his headstone also has Floy. I think we have it correct now. Whew... Keep up the good work... | RE: Pionner Mausoleum Hi Anne, I had Catharina M. Nielsen listed as 'Katherine'. Cemetery records listed her both ways. I have it corrected now, #57317410. Thank you so much for all your work in getting families linked and errors corrected in Pioneer Cemetery. YOU ROCK!!!! EdAdded by Ed Smith on May 17, 2013 4:28 PM | | | Sheri West
 | Laughlin's You're very welcome. If you need any obits from Yamhill County I would be happy to go to the library and get them for you :) | | | Ed Smith
 | Modesto Cemeteries Hi Anne, The cemeteries, Pioneer (also known as Odd Fellows Cemetery), Acacia (also know as Masonic Cemetery), Modesto Citizens Cemetery and Saint Stanislaus Cemetery are all located on the same property and there is no boundries which separates them. You could think you are in the Acacia portion when actually you could be on the Citizens or Pioneer section. All the records I entered for these cemeteries came from the individual cemetery records. The confusion continues if you contacted the office for Acacia looking for a person who is actually buried in Pioneer and you won't be able to locate them. You would have to contact the Pioneer office to find them. I have taken care of your requests for the Wooten family and am happy to help out. If I can help out anymore, just let me know. | RE: Thank you! Anne,
You are probably the most 'removed' cousin I have found. Are you by any slim chance related to the Hartleys? What number Great-Grandmother is Mary Neville for you? It's hard to imagine how different our lives are from hers. Wouldn't a chat with some of our ancestors be wonderful?

 | Smith/Gribi family Thank you so very much for transferring the Smythe & Gribi family to me!! It's greatly appreciated!!
And Thank You So Much for making their memorials in the first place and taking pictures of their stones. I never would have found them as I was looking further up north. Goes to show that you never know what your relatives have been up to :) :).
I'll add the updates and a little more. Thanks again! Boundersal | | | Shirley Hart Dillingham
 | William Dulaney Gibbs Hello, Anne ~ THANK YOU so much for adding the link to William Dulaney Gibbs' Mother for me! Also, thank you for transferring this memorial to me for management, even though I didn't ask you to - you are so sweet to do so.
I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the Headstone photos you added in my Family Tree ~ any consideration is appreciated!
