Do It Now
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet (1773–1855)
My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.
I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from findagrave.com, reference findagrave.com and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.
If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."
I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - this research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab.
Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

Thanks - I'll let you know if I figure out who she was. My guess was the same, either mom or Aunt. Sounds like it's going to take some poking around to find her - just what I needed, a new "brick wall" to work on :)

Hi - thanks so much for taking the time to build such a detailed memorial page for Patrick and Alice. They were my husband's gg grandparents. I am actually trying to sort out a piece of information I have that I am wondering if perhaps you also saw when you researched them. In both the 1860 us census and the 1865 Mass. state census there is a Catherine Hines, age 70 in 1860 and age 76 in 1865, living with the family, listed as widowed. I thought this might be Patrick's mother, but you've got a Kitsey (Curick) Hines listed. thoughts?? thank you!

Many, many thanks.

You are absolutely correct about the relationship mistake...and declining my edit request. What was I thinking? Thanks.

I appreciate all your work, too. Keep all the additions coming! This is such a great site and we can all make it better with cooperation.

|GGreene||RE: Harriet McCrae|
I searched everything I have, and did an online search of every combination I could come up with, and I didn't come up with anything. Sorry

Thank you so much for your helpful response and the correction(s). I have modified Lillian Hodge's memorial to reflect more info regarding all of her children, including Dorothy Verry. As you can see, I do have some info about her - but lost track after Grotto's death. I had no idea about the second marriage two years later, so thank you! It at least gives me a research direction to follow. :)
