RE: Genesee Christensen
Thanks for keeping me on my toes. No I did not know that I put the maiden name as Christensen instead of Tripp. I was still a little stressed I guess.

RE: Elizabeth Durdell Smith Taylor
Short answer: it needs more research. A death record for either woman would be helpful. It would possibly tell us her husband's name and it would put the debate to rest.

Longer answer: I just checked with the Taylor organization (again). They have the same birth year we do (but they spelled her surname Dirdle). However, as Durdell is a branch off the main Taylor tree, they haven't pursued the information and don't even have her parents names. When I was told the office didn't have a record of the person, it has made me wonder even more if the Elizabeth buried in Lyman is ours.

What I do know: I created this memorial because of the date discrepancy - and no one has come forward with proof of either.

The possibility of a woman named Elizabeth Smith Taylor being from Burbage AND buried in Wayne county? Unlikely.

However, Imust admit that with as many Taylor's as had been in that area and the uncountable number of Elizabeth Smith's there could be, the family pendulum can still swing either way. I will let you decide, but I think it very likely the other memorial is the correct one. I'm just unwilling to delete this one until I have proof it's really her.

Hello Karren, Thanks for doing the research on that extra information. I can now take it off the memorial without feeling a bit bad about it. Thanks

Albert
Hay Karren,I do not know where the Abert came from it certainly is not on any of my records. The name was on the memorial when I gained custody of it. Albert was listed as a middle name. I changed that to be a nick name instead of a middle name.I do not know if it should be there or not. I can delete it from the memorial and I have thought about doing so. My only worry is that the name had to come from somewhere and until I know where, I am reluctant to dispose of it entirely. I do not have documentation for one of the marrages that is on the memorial either. Do You have any documentation for that third marrage?

Sarah Ann Wiggill Bennett
Hello Karren,

Thank you for the message.

It is unfortunate, but true, that there are many, many incorrect records of Sarah in familysearch.org. You can see all these conflicting records in the link below. I took the name and birth/death place info from a version of the data that is combined in new.familysearch.org. Her sister Lavinia is my great-grandmother.

Now that I see how conficting all the data is, I wish I had not created the memorial. I made changes to the memorial based on your message and I will transfer management to you if you like. Thanks again for the feedback.

Scot
