Jimmy A. Duren
Duren Family
Gerry,

My name is Jim Duren. I live in Cleveland, GA. My family is from the Atlanta Area.

My great-greatgrandfather was George Duren b.1799 in Augusta GA. He had brother named Thomas and a sister named Nancy (We think). I can't get pasted 1799 with my Duren name.

I have heard story's that Thomas went to Texas. Just looking....can you help?

Thanks,
JIM

Kramer and Cook's Point Methodist Cemeteries
Please check the burials that you've listed for the two cemeteries above and correct if need be. At one point Cook's Point Methodist Cemetery wasn't an option in the list of Burleson County cemeteries on Find A Grave, but is now. Kramer and Cook's Point Methodist are two distinct cemeteries - although quite close together. Send me an email, if you'd like, to hookemlrj@suddenlink.net and I will send you a photo showing you the location of the two. Perhaps, you'll remember which one you were in. Cook's Point Methodist is on the same plot of ground as the church and their parsonage. Kramer is across a small gravel road off in a field a bit.

Kramer Cemetery
Many, if not most all of the entries that you have for Kramer Cemetery are not buried at Kramer. They are probably in the Cooks Point Methodist Cemetery.
Kramer is a small family cemetery, near Cooks Point Methodist Cemetery, but is not the same.
Somehow, these need to be corrected so they can be located by those searching. If I can help, let me know.

Martha Scott Fourshee
I was just wondering if you could pinpoint the dates on this individual listed in the Fairview Cemetery/Bastrop?

I have a Martha Scott listed on the 1860 Bastrop County census more in the Camp Swift area. She dissappears in the late 1860s from the tax roll.
She would have been in her late 60s.

I thought maybe she could have remarried after seeing this marker. The last name Fourshee is new to me. After searching for this name, I've found various spellings maybe mispelled by others on the census ot tax rolls.

Thanks

Marie Deerman Kirkpatrick
Hi,

I am the daughter of A.P. and Marie Kirkpatrick. My father's name was Prentice, could you correct the spelling of his name?

Thank you for your contribution!

Thank you for all of the work and effort put into posting all of this information.

Possibility of typo for death date of Florence Farmer. Date on headstone date appears to be 1895
