UPDATE REGARDING AVALON CEMETERY, SANTA CATALINA ISLAND:
All burials with markers through October 31, 2012 have been added to this site and photographed. If you would like any unmarked graves to be photographed, please send me a message in advance so that I can obtain plot locations, as this tiny cemetery does not have an office and I need to contact City Hall on weekdays.

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suited for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

I does not look like there has been any follow up in my records. Sorry I am not able to help you.

Pauline M. Dedrick
Hello B. J.,
My name is Keith Lawrence Find A Grave Member # 47023459,
I found your memorial to Pauline M. Dedrick B: June 27, 1907, D: April 29, 1987. Buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles County, California.
I was wondering if you could tell me, do you know if Pauline is buried next to her husband, Ruterford Benjamin Dedrick, according to my records, he died on September 18, 1962.

I am trying to locate where Rutherford B. Dedrick is buried?

Thank you,

Keith Lawrence

Bonnie,
I am good with annotating in the Inglewood record. Some other researcher may track obit to cemetery - and as you say we would be back at square one. Thanks for your help!

RE: Myrtle Harder
Aloha and thank you Bonnie for taking the time on this.
I am positive her cremains were moved as Myrtle was my Grandmother. I would be interested if there is a marker of some kind. I wouldn't think so as one of the reasons for relocating her is so my Aunt to sell the two plots.

RE: Iris Engstrom
Thank your for putting up her memorial in the first place. We had no idea of what happened to Iris and for some reason she was not showing on Ancestry earlier. Your posting that memorial closed the story for us on where Iris is buried.

Thank you!
Thank you for your photo of Genevieve Davidson's grave! What a nice surprise how quickly - and well - it was done. I'm grateful to volunteers like you; you've helped confirm the preferred order of her 1st & middle name, and of course, made our genealogical record more complete. Thanks again!
