Bio and Links
My mother Betty Burdue Hodge greatly influenced me in my pursuit of our ancestors. My roots are in southeastern and northern Ohio so naturally I have to drive a while to get to any graves of interest. Genealogy is my one true passion! Athens County, Ohio genealogy rocks! Among the surnames I am researching are Cagg, Huddy, Risley, Henshaw, Emish, Nanna, Brandenburg, Glenn, Shack, Eagle, McMillin, Wallace, Thompson, Lewis, Curry, Shively, Burdue, Blazer, Plue, Love, Sowards, Pruitt, Jarvis, McGhee, Hazlett, and all Athens County, Ohio surnames. I will be glad to transfer any memorial pages of people who are not directly related to me.

RE: Utah Cemetery
Debbie I have been there a couple of times but it was in the summer when I was there, depending on the time of year you go down the roads are not the best of roads around the area best to go when there is no snow or rain. I go down 33 to the Movie 10 theater and turn left onto New Floodwood road I believe it is Twp. road 294, I think it dead ends into Utah Ridge Twp road 295 turn left then it is down a few miles on the right it is right on the road and fenced in well kept and nice. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me. Most of the stones are very aged up there. I have found a few family members headstones but I am sure a lot have been lost to the times. Take someone with you. Willy

RE: Everett Bingham
I thought maybe. The person who created the memorial in Union Cemetery should be notified of the mistake. I'll probably try sending the person a nice note to let them know of the mistake.

Everett Bingham
You requested a photo of Everett Bingham buried in Union Cemetery, Athens County. I can't locate him in that cemetery, but I did find an Everett Bingman buring in West Union Street Cemetery (Athens)(sometimes called Union Street Cemetery). The death date is 1970 and birth is 1898. F.A.G. memorial 134237150. Wife's name is Ruth. Is this possibly the person you are looking for? The person entering the memorial at Union Cemetery may have posted the wrong spelling of the name and the wrong cemetery.
