 | Charles V Smith Thanks again for the headstone pics for Carrie and Glenwood Smith... By any chance, did you get a picture of Carrie's husband Charles V Smith's headstone? I was told it's right next to Carrie Smith...

 | Egglestons and married daughters Thanks for offering. I have worked with a book of entries published by the Flint Genealogical Society. In reading the entry more carefully I see that the code says NS (no stone)in block 1 no. 22 for Edis died 1945, Sarah died 1929, and an infant Truman who died in 1873. We are related to most of the Eggleston's there. Sarah was one of 11 children born to Marilda Beecher and her spouse John D. Eggleston. Marilda's mother was Arilla (Arila) Stuart Beecher Eggleston, who as a widow in Orleans County, NY married widower, John A. Eggleston, John D's father. Most of the blended family relocated to Flint. Arilla was my husband's ggg grandmother. I've made a project of connecting the many generations of our Beecher line and their descendants.Added by Sonja on Apr 21, 2012 7:10 AM | | | David Olsen
 | Gary McLennan Thank you so much for the photo for Gary. He was one of 53 men from L Troop 3rd Squadron of the 11th Cavalry that was killed in Vietnam. Soonj I will have them all back together again where they belong and then my work will be done. | | | Sonja
 | Knight Sarah and Edis I see in looking over the text regarding burials in the Cronk Cemetery, that there were no specific headstones for either Sarah Eggleston Knight or for her son, Edis. I apologize for the trouble. Perhaps just one stone was there for the entire family, or not??
