I was born a Smith. I married a Tune. Between the two of us, we are searching the following family surnames:|
Smith, Horton, Burrow, Honea, Wilson
Tune, Bickle, Holland, Yeager
...and many more

Oh, I just appreciate what you did so much. It was so kind of you to think of taking photos when you were just traveling in KY for other purposes. I am also a Missourian - grew up in Belton and am a transplanted Texan.

They are distant relatives. Just keep them. You can handle them as well as I. LOL
There were others of the Mahaney family that I had also requested photos for. Did you look for those and not find them? Or is that just too many to request at one time. Those requests are still there if you are ever back at that cemetery. Thanks so much for the ones you found.

I would be glad for you to transfer the Mahaney memorials to me. Thanks so much.

Thanks for getting these photos for me. Could I ask for a favor? Would you place the photo you took for Malvina on her daughters memorial also? they share a stone according to your photo. Her daughter is Mary E. Brawner. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the Mahaney headstone photos. They will be a nice addition to my family history notebook. I appreciate your time and willingness to do this for me.

Sue, Here is one thing I have noted. Some records say he was born in 1722---others in 1733---all with the same death date of Jan 06 1816, NC. Cannot seem to find a grave marker. Burials have been moved to another Cemetery--stones unreadable, etc.
I think most likely we are related up to A H SR, then the trre lines split. I am currently working with another Relative--distant cousin, on this very same thing. Tree splits at A H, SR. Let me see If I can find your Email address and send you what I just sent to him. It will show you 2 Horton Generations back to the 1600's---in case you do not have them. Thanks Jerri

I have asked for Horton's not related to Contributor--not sure I will get them all?
The above would be direct in your line too! Please Link all of your Memorials starting with Archibald, then we will both know each others line.
Hope all is correct--advise if you have difference? Jerri

SUE--Here is my Horton line:
1)Grandmother: Martha Ellen Horton Sellers 1843-1940.
2)G Grandfather: Preston Berry Horton 1822-1901
3)GG Grandfather:Jessie Beener Horton 1785-1839

Looks like we are definitely distant related--but changes on my GG Grandfather Jessie Beener Horton, to your different line of his brother Archibald Horton 1789 (MY GG Uncle).
Would like to know what country the Horton's came from--let me know if you find out. Will keep you in mind if I do.
My Grandmother Martha was on the Mormon Saint Train to Colorado, from AL. That is why I have soooooo many Horton Records!! She found as many relatives that she could for her Church/Family Genealogy. Retired now and trying to finish her work! Sooooo much work, as they all had soooo many children!! And most with the same names!! Any Questions--Email direct. I find relative's on a regular basis. email@example.com
