Not sure how we are related but your name appears nearly everywhere. I am tracking the Howard/Fisher Family Trees and the Fisher side is absolutely fascinating. I always feel I am on the right track when I see "To Whom Do We Belong".

Hello again.I just saw your edit request for the middle name change. After reading your information for Joseph I would suggest that you change it to read as you wish. Being born in Switzerland, the middle name as you spell it would have a French influence perhaps. I have found that the old German priests gave everything a German spelling, such as Carolos for Carl and Lucia for Lucy. I am certain is the difference in spelling. St. Stephen's was one of the first Parishes in Seneca County and settled by German immigrants. Hope this helps. For the preservation of history, please make a note somewhere of the spelling difference. Hope this helps. Kathy Miller

Hello. I wanted to tell you that Joseph does not have a headstone. I took the information from church records. Many in this little cemetery do not have stones. I live beside St. Stephen's cemetery and have spent many hours walking among my ancestors and yours. Kathy Miller
