|Jamie Tarasidis||RE: DL Underwood|
You're welcome! I spoke to David Jennings, the minister of administration. He was a great help, despite the fact that I showed up unannounced and was looking for 20 graves out of 1200! He copied maps of the cemetery for me and looked up each name in his spreadsheet. His records only said DL Underwood with no other info. It was strange because this empty-looking plot was in a quite crowded section of the cemetery. The church's phone number is 229-5557, and it's First Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Thank you a million for all the info you posted! Wilie P. (actually is Willie) and James H. Baker, brothers who died together at the hospital from gun shot wounds, are my great-great uncles. Their sister, Martha Baker Griffin, Find A Grave Memorial# 69621666, is my great-great grandmother. She had a son in 1868, Willie Oratio Griffin, Find A Grave Memorial# 50831148, who was born 3 years after her brother Willie died, and he was named after her lost brother. He went by Willie too although it says William on his memorial. Their parents were James Baker, 1792-1885, and Martha Patsy "Pattie" Williams, 1801-1870.

Thank you so much for placing a photograph of his monument and his wife Jane Gaston on their memorial! I appreciate it very much. It is wonderful when we all work together to preserve the past for future generations. Again, thanks.....

Hello again Rick,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring Glenn Sowers Park to my care. I have successfully connected them with family and siblings. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

You are welcome,
I was lucky to hit them on a good day. I meet a nice lady and she gave me maps of all the sections and location for a few markers. I can send you the map and location if you ever need to find these markers.
